We have been at sportsman's for 3 weeks with no problems. The staff has been excellent. We were able to get in to one of the newly remodeled rooms and for a weekly it's incredible. For these prices I would expect a lot less but we are getting more than what we are paying for.
I’m currently living in this horrendous community, since we moved here, we immediately knew it was a mistake.Extremely dirty place, police showing here every week due another problem in the community, we have got at least 5 packages stolen already (in 6 months from our front door).Administration is extremely negligent addressing any issue, if you report a basic situation like cleaning it can take up to a week for them to act, (off course that single time) so it seems that your responsibility is to report every week what is wrong in the community for somebody to actually care about it, aren’t they supposed to check all this to provide a quality living (it would be amazing when you pay over $1500 USD/month).This week problem is neighbors renting their apartment on airb&b which we reported over a month ago (great for your family security) having new people at home every second day.Off course here you will find the usual excuse “if the issue is not related to the administration duties, there is nothing we can do about it”Looking for a gym?, don’t even consider it!!! You better start lifting trash bags, the “gym” is a disaster.Thinking to move out of this hell? Sure just pay 2 month of rent to have the relief of securing your loved ones, because all this “is not related to the administration duties, there is nothing we can do about it”So here are your options: endure and stay in a living hell or pay so the business is still good.Here is another one DON RENT IN THIS PLACE! AND MAKE THIS COMPANY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE “AMAZING LIVING QUALITY” THEY OFFER.
I moved into this nightmare of a place only to be greeted by a scorpian and nearly eaten alive (LITERALLY) by disgusting bed bugs (red, black, and their babies were crawling all over me), which infested the couch and bed; the manager was not remorseful what-so-ever and non-sailantly and reluctantly offered to give me my money back ONLY if I left that day. (OH, and the front desk staff must have been threatened by the owners not to side with tenants because they tried to tell me that this is normal and if you go anywhere in Vegas you will deal with this???? REALLY?????? I think NOT!)Well, I have no car and had no other place to go with such short notice so I was forced to stay and sleep with one eye open; they moved me into another room (like that was going to solve the infestation problem) only to be greeted by a slew of roaches which I have to fight off DAILY to this day. I had numerous other issues with this room as well, the stove, phone, and it was just filthy, and it took over a week for them to resolve just one of the issues. I swear if anyone knows these things going in, you would not reside in such a place. You would rather stay on the streets with the rest of the homeless. I see why they sleep under overpasses; it's cleaner.This place should be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ALLOWING IT TO KEEP IT'S DOORS OPEN????????? They are sick!!!Now I am itching all over and it won't stop. I have never in my life seen a bed bug or scorpians until I moved there. I have bite marks on me and it's a sick reminder of the devastation and trauma it has caused.....DONT DO IT!!!! I'm moving into my own house when I get my return and I will possibly have to see a therapist after staying here!!!!!! >:(
It just cannot be worse: CHEATING PERSONALCockroaches, not working lamps, no microwave, broken shelves and drawers, 50 yrs old mattress with one flat side, blinds don’t close well, bathtub that you don’t want to touch - so wasted!... a spider’s nest with the guy (dead from pesticides? or from frustration?! won’t be surprised if he committed suicide)-- this ugly place is good only in the office.Newly built suits at about 2000 Fremont cost 225/week. This monster 250. + $35 they take as a refundable. But you have to expect the unexpected. Dirty hands will not give you money before they... check on the room. And you can see their fatty butts not going to check it before time is off.It means that if the suit doesn’t get checked before 10 am, your money will end in their deep pockets. Simple crime.How safe is to stay there?They have Police riding and walking 24 hours around, and STILL the place is a serious danger. Something bad happens so often... Police with guns attacked a door - twice in 3 days! You will be glad to get to the downtown’s dangerous places better than to be at this place.Something was advertised about a renovation. For a young man like me and a family like mine, nothing good was offered. Probably, they get money for to give you a better place. Not having so much of $$$... I know a few people who want to sue this management.I don’t want to mess with them. A decaying world of these guys is so unhealthy that they already pay the price... Unfortunately,I sent my photos to those who want to shake this place a bit. I didn’t keep originals.Justice will come. I just cannot risk my family.
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BYRON COPELAND. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, paid $1300 in full on 9/9. When I received the hotel vouchers, the co. name is misspelled (Vegas Hotel Scapes) & located in NM, not NV...a bit sloppy on details. I requested early checkin on rm 1, late checkout on rm 2. This was not on the vouchers. I addressed this with him, he replied it was requested. At his suggestion, I called the hotel direct to confirm early checkin/late checkout. The hotel informed me I didn't have reservations. I called on 9/12 & 9/13 to confirm this, while attempting to rectify this with Byron. Fed-up with his lack of followup, I booked direct with the hotel, requested a refund from him on 9/13.He was to refund on 9/13, didn't happen. Then per phone convo on 9/14, he'd pay "in a week". When pressed for refund on 9/21, he texts his offshore funds hadn't come in, so he'd pay from his personal account by 9/24. 9/24, no word or $ from him.9/28, I text for an update. He replies his legal team will file defamation charges on me & other names listed on reservation, & for me to take down my consumer reviews & the refund will be processed.After ignoring me the day I requested my refund, then a week later pending his refund from the reservation center (ResTel, the offshore co. based in Spain), he comes up with a "standard refund policy" of 30days. There's no refund policy on vouchers, or website (mostly template Latin gibberish). 10/9, 30days since I paid, still no refund. I come to find HE NEVER PAID THE RESERVATION to begin with.DON'T CONSIDER THIS BUSINESS. I deliberated on the 1* reviews on Yelp. As he was referred by friends, I hoped that those deceitful days were behind him, thought I'd give him a chance, he has a kid, I like to support small biz. He proved all 1* reviews to be current & true.If you wanna take a gamble on this business, you will lose. I did.PS: on other platforms, he claims A+ rating & BBB affiliation; ARC & OSSN/TRUE accredited - ALL FALSE.
Just horrible! I dont know how these people can live with themselves, charging what they are for the crappy living and services they provide.I would NEVER recommend this place to even my worst enemy!AND the price keeps going up while the neighborhood is going down!The new maintenance man Carl is absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!I have been without hot water for a week as of today, I do not give them permission to enter when I am not home as I do not trust them, rightfully so at this point.I have attempted to make SEVERAL arrangements for them to come in when family can be there and when I have been home, they have come in ONCE and said they "fixed it" but didnt... then I was assured by the leasing office that I could call the emergency maintenance line today, Saturday, as I will be home to have them come replace the water heater.. I did so and Carl talked to me like I was the biggest idiot, told me the office manager has no say in when he comes to fix things and that he is in Arizona and I am out of luck unless I let him in when I am not home. Do not waste your time, I will say it again and again and again!If it werent for medical issues preventing me from physically being able to pack up and move at this time, I would be out of here!I am contacting Channel 13 News on Monday.Dont waste your time or money... you would be better off living on D Street.They also dont care about pets that are being abused on their property or that are keeping other residents up at night by being locked on a tiny patio 24hrs a day, in the vegas heat, whining and crying and barkingPS: dont believe ANY positive reviews, they are not legit... previous management offered bribes for positive reviews.
If I could rate lower I would. The staff in the leasing office with the exception of LaTonya have no clue what they are doing or how their own leasing and billing works! I had to move out suddenly and their lease has a special provisions clause for early move out. I followed everything to the letter and moved out, signed off and thought everything was fine, I would be mailed my deposit after cleaning fees and the breaking lease fee. Lo and behold when I got a statement from them of the "final charges" I was appalled. They charged for cleaning, painting, "final utilities" and a higher lease breaking fee than the lease stated. When I went to get the statement clarified I was treated like trash, the manage Kathryn stated "I don't have time to do this, write down your questions and I'll email you. You can look confused all you want, the statement won't change and you won't get anything further." All I wanted was clarification and they couldn't and downright refused to discuss it. Never rent here, they are shady and rude on top of other complaints tenets have made.
Do Not. I repeat. Do Not Ever Go to Circus Circus. What a joke. The only time they give a crap about service is at check in. Once they have your money for the room it's over. You are o. Your own. The rooms are dirty. The service sucks. Pool is open until 8 they shut down all the service to the pool at 6. So no water no nothing.Everything here costs extra except for the tiny lackluster crowded filthy pools. If you want to stay here be sure and bring everything you're going to need cuz they sure as hell won't provide it.I will never ever visit this place again and I pray no one else in this country ever will either until they get their act together.
The rooms is pretty nice; however there is sketchy behavior amongst the managers, supervisors and employees. If you book you pay extra and they don't give refunds. But the real problem is Managers and Supervisors laughing at customers, being rude to customers and allowing that to go on with their employees as well. Housekeeping is rude and does not clean rooms or bring new sheets and towels. There needs to be new management and/or training of all current employees otherwise this place will go down. The police are always around because of sketchy activity of some tenants. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
Family recently lost our home due to a fire and we needed a quick place to stay. Fortunately sportsman's was right down the street and they had rooms available. I not gonna lie and say it was the best place ever. Rooms are dated but.....the staff their was amazing. They took such awesome care of us. Thank you for all you did to make a terrible situation slightly better!
