The most incompetent, carless and irresponsible Doctor I have ever encountered. If you value your health, stay far away from this Doctor and his spiteful staff. I have deep regrets ever consulting him. I’m changing Doctors after only a few weeks.This Doctor is part of the WellHealth Medical Group and is enabled by Insurance Carriers like Amerigroup.
The Worst experience with a doctors office I have ever had. When I walked in as a new patient I was handed a clipboard with 12 pages to fill out filling out, your name 12 times, date etc 12 times There was 27 people waiting, After I completed the book of information the waiting room was cleared out then another 16 people arrived one after another this was now 1 hour after I arrived, they were all called except for me. I went to the window told them I am done give me back all my paper work. 2 hours wasted of my life. They have patient files all over the reception area floor, looks like a cross between a clinic & a bus station. Run as fast as you can from this practice.
NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! -stars! Our 1st experience here was not very good the doc didn't seem to listen or want to answer any questions charged us $45 for a physical. We decided to find another doc (best decision)Today we had to get blood work done and it turns out that we have a balance for blood work that he said " would be covered" AND WAS NOT! We went back to his office to request documents saying why he ordered those test and he had the nerve to say " he didn't order that test that we marked it ourselves!" I was shocked! When I asked him why would we do something like that he said "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" Turned and walked away from us!Now we are stuck with a bill for HUNDREDS of dollars that he is not taking any responsibility for. All we were asking for was a paper from him saying why he requested that test and what we got was disrespected, a huge bill and treated like trash!! Never ever go there I beg you!!!!
Scary...I am a caregiver and have received such bad care for my father I have had to not only switch doctors but contact the medical community for assistance for my concerns. You will NEVER SEE AN ACTUAL DOCTOR AT THUS OFFICE UNLESS YOU REQUEST AND WAIT UNTIL YOUR SYMPTOMS SUBSIDE OR YOU GO TO THE ER OR URGENT CATR EBIXH THEY CONSTANTLY RECOMMEND.
Horrible experience! I didn't mind having to park a block away to get to the office because they lacked parking space. I didn't mind waiting an hour to see the doctor , but when an hour and a half went by and I still hadn't see the doctor I got a little concerned. When I hit the two hour mark and still no sign of the doctor. It was time to leave ( sorry doc we have to work too). As I was walking out I saw the doctor and told him hey I've been here for 2 hours and he was indifferent. So at that point what can you do but leave. The sad part about the whole experience is that it cost me $20 of my copay and all I got was 2 hours of waiting and a doctor that couldn't careless. I would give you NO STARS but am forced to give you at least 1! Sorry you don't take peoples money, time and expect to be praised.
Extraordinarily incompetent front office staff and office manager! Don't bother scheduling an appointment, for the incompetent staff won't bother checking the validity of your insurance before your office visit. Staff here treat you like you're a moron and are too busy watching Youtube videos on their work computers to practice anything remotely resembling adequate customer service. Don't bother trying to complain to the office manager, for she DOES NT CARE! Their profile photos are misleading, for the waiting room is nasty and gross! If you have a choice, choose another provider!
I have been to many, many doctors, and this office is by far the WORST I have ever been to in my life. Joe Eafrate is an absolutely atrocious P.A., and I would not go back to him if he were the last physician on earth. He is rude and short-tempered (he stood up and abandoned me mid-appointment -- I had to talk to the office manager and she eventually convinced him to continue the appointment!) and has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. I do not recommend Joe Eafrate or Forte Family Practice as a whole.
I've been going to Dr. Sood for several years now, while I should have stopped long ago. 1) Getting an appt seems relatively easy, but the wait once you arrive for any appt is regularly over an hour, and I've been there up to 3 total hours more times than I care to count. 2) Dr. Sood seems nice most of the time, but her bedside manner can be atrocious. She looked at my EKG once and immediately threw out there, "Oh, it looks like you've had a heart attack." I had not, as further tests would show, and I'm lucky I didn't when she claimed that. She's also raised her voice at me and treated me like a child when I've expressed wanting a deeper look into my symptoms and condition. 3) 6 or 7 years ago, she referred me to a surgeon who nearly fatally injured me by making a bad mistake during the operation and then not wanting to follow up with tests when I came back the next day in severe pain (landed me a month in the hospital and several more months of recovery). Sood seemed to forget about that, because a few months later, she casually said, "Oh, do you know someone died before of the same thing?" Yeah, it was the same surgeon, too. Why do you keep referring people there, knowing that?? 4) She's irresponsible with prescribing drugs that can interact with each other, and just wants to throw meds at symptoms rather than really help find and heal the underlying cause of the problem. 5) There has been a lot of turnover in her staff over the last couple of years. The newest person doesn't know how to accurately check your blood pressure (she got 120/80 for me twice, when the doctor later confirmed it was around 140/90), and when my sister went in for some recent blood work, the same assistant repeatedly stabbed around looking for veins until my sister refused further attempts and said she'd just go to Quest (and my sister's normally an easy stick). You may ask, "Why did you stay so long with Sood, then?" Well, I thought it was better to stay with someone who'd treated me over several years, but after everything that's happened, it's not worth sacrificing my health over.
My mother was a patient of Forte Family Clinic for many years. She passed away on Sept 12th, 2014. Waiting anywhere from 45 min. to 2 1/2 hrs. for a scheduled appointment."ok, you have 5 minutes, what's going on?" had become the normal greeting by what I thought was her primary care doctor, Beverly Strauss-DiPaolo. I found out after my Mother's passing, that she is an APN, not a doctor. Interesting. "Dr Bev" ignored what I believed to be serious issues, telling me that we could go to Urgent Care if I believe the problem to be persistent. Blood work was not done to find out why my Mother was run down, tired and listless, instead "Dr Bev" suggested Ritalin. Since blood work was not done on numerous occasions, (weekly visits) her UTI and sodium deficiency went unnoticed until I did take her to Urgent Care, then to the hospital. Ritalin is not the answer for an 84 yr old woman who is feeling run down and listless. Other medications were prescribed incorrectly, and never was a pulmonary doctor recommended for her COPD issues. I honestly believe she would be here today if proper care and protocol by Dr Forte's staff would have been followed. I also truly believe that she would have lived this past year, better, but unfortunately, the care she did receive the last year of her life from the Forte Family Clinic and Beverly Strauss-DiPaolo in particular, was at best, inadequate. It's just a shame that my Mother's "doctor" did not have the time, and was unable to provide good, prompt and knowledgeable health care. Unfortunately, my Mother liked "Dr Bev's" bedside manner, and I was never able to convince her to find a new doctor/clinic, which is why she became a regular at Urgent Care for medical treatment. I wish she had lived better with the help of the person she trusted, "Dr. Bev".
