TERRIBLE COMPANY, DISHONEST & UNPROFESSIONAL: They have complaints on the Better Business Bureau BBB. I have a Lifetime Warranty on the Structure of my pool, that Desert Springs Pools will not honor. I've paid a structural engineer to confirm my claimI've spent $3,500 on a Structural Engineer, Pool- builder advise and a Botness report, to prove my claim to Desert Springs Pools that the structure of my Pool & Spa, are cracked and failing, due to Structural DEFECT, and not anything else such as tree roots,, as the company claimed. I spent another $1000 to dig a 3' trench around my pool and photograph that there are NO tree roots present. After sending in my claim to Desert Springs, they still denied my claim, and said if I wanted resolve and compensation, I'd have to sue them for it. That will cost me almost $50K to do so.
You will see many reviews of Peak on the web and I tend to agree with the vast majority of them. You will find the office & sales staff great (5 stars). The quote that I received from Peak was also the most reasonable which is why I selected them as our contractor. We chose a light blue pebble plaster. The out come in my estimation was horrible, the color is streaked and blotchy and varies from completely white to dark blue (I have posted pictures) When I questioned them Tony, the construction foreman, told me that "this is a perfectly normal out come" and "to be expect in any color plaster". When I pushed back on this response John (the owner), changed the story and said it was my fault and "the chemistry is causing some discoloration"So if everything goes OK Peak gets 5 stars... if anything goes wrong "your on your own"..... Zero Stars
We contracted with Rainbow Pool Construction on 06/15/14 with a stated completion date of 09/23/14 written in their contract. There was a two week delay for caliche dig with no other supplier or weather delays and our pool is still unfinished as of 12/16/14. The builder has been paid all monies and has abandoned the job failing to complete the pool and they will not provide any project updates for completion. We are in the process of taking them to the State contractors board for breach of contract and to seek information on possible reimbursement through the recovery fund to have another pool builder complete their abandoned project. We DO NOT recommend this builder based on false statements, failed contract commitments and theft of monies. Ed C
The Desert Springs group did my pool and landscaping, I could have asked for a better job.
