Dr. Peters is very caring and available for his patients. I never wait more than 10 minutes to see him. I am able to email him and reach him at night as well.

This review is about the supporting staff and clinic manager, not the providers.I called on 3/24/17 to schedule an appt as a new patient for Dr. Dunsmoor because he was listed as accepting new patients on my provider listing for medicaid. When I told the woman in scheduling that I had HPN Medicaid she said "Hmhp no we do not accept that, you guys go to southwest medical" in the nastiest tone. I was so taken back by her response. I know for a fact that is not true. I told her "thank you" and hung up. I called back because I felt like that was not the way you should speak to anyone, but especially a potential patient. I asked to speak to the office manager, a woman named Sharon. She placed me on hold after I told her what I had experienced just moments ago and came back to say "Well I spoke with her and she said she did not speak to you in that manner. His panel is closed for Medicaid patients." (So he does take medicaid, he's just not accepting new patients)I proceeded to ask if he was accepting UHC insurance (for my mother) and Sharon told me "Well if you have UHC then why are you asking about Medicaid" Because I can, that's why. I SHOULD be able to ask as many questions as I want about whatever insurance products I want. That should not be an issue. Never did I receive an apology for being talked down to as if I were ignorant and Sharon basically told me they were right and I was completely wrong. I will be filing a complaint with the health plan so that it can be properly addressed about how to speak to people in general. I am fully aware of the stigma that is placed with Medicaid recipients and to be mistreated and misguided because of the product you carry is completely out of line.
Dr. Burnette and his staff are professional, courteous, and efficient. His building has a surgical center so a hospital wasn't needed for the procedure and my experience was 5 star.

First off my grandmothers Bp medication needed a refill while dr. Chaney was out of town , her staff decided that there was nothing the could do. My grandmother was in horrible condition bp spiked and almost took her in to emergency room but decided to call doctor office again and she got back a day earlier and they did call like they said they would.dr. Had informed me that was not procedure and her staff needed to apologize. 2wks later we are sitting in the waiting room and staff screamed across the room that my grandmother had a bill of $112 dollars and she won't let me be seen unless I get it paid today I stepped up to the window to explain to her this was the first I have heard of this and I can pay it that next morning but my grandmother needed to see the doctor she insisted that I was not going to get my 80 year old grandmother in to see anyone. A nice lady in the waiting room stood up and said enough she will pay it. I left because I could pay the bill just not that min. When I later called to make a new appt. the staff reminded me she won't see me if I don't pay. I informed her it still is no problem and I will have the money but I need to speak with the dr. Without my grandmother (because she was so upset on how she was treated) just to pay the bill and let the dr. Know what just happened staff made the appt. I got there mind you I'm 8 months pregnant and walk in and staff says no you won't be seen without my grandmother I said I informed them over the phone they said doesnt matter they won't let me talk to the dr. I said we'll I need to at least message her let her know what is going on they refused to let me get near the dr. I waited there till the dr. Saw me after that the dr. Protected the staff and by the time I was leaving the staff was yelling at me about the bill all the way down the hall even though Chaney told me it didn't matter just leave the continued yelling till I was in the elevator right I front of dr and pt.
WORST OFFICE EVER!!! Dr. Garcia used to be a great doctor till she moved into this office. Now not so great. Front office girls dont know how to smile. I call office manager Sharon to talk about a problem we were having and before I can even tell her the whole thing she starts arguing with me. Nice customer service. This office needs to remember they are a business and there are a million other doctors out there that would love to have my money, and they just got it thanks to Sharon!! It all could have been worked out if people told the truth and acted professional. Your also not supposed to call the doctor if you have any problems. Just to let you all know.
