If you love Mexican Food, you definately need to come by and taste Mi Tierra! The chips & salsa are addicting and the beans (i love beans) were perfect! The Tortilla Soup that is on the house is one of the best I've tried. It's a perfect portion of vegetables with melted cheese, sprinkled with tortilla strips in a delicious broth. If you love cheese then a must try appetizer is the Queso Dip with Chorizo. The Chorizo adds a hint of spicyness to the melted jack and cheddar cheese with chile sauce. I give this two thumbs up!! The first meal I tried was the Steak Chimichanga. The steak was delicious and tender, the burrito crust was perfectly crisp and all of the peppers, spices, beans and rice really made the flavors pop! On my second visit, I tried the Chile Colorado with fresh, homemade flour tortillas! It was absolutely delicious especially when you squeeze some fresh lemon juice on the Chile Colorado. On my third but not last visit, (Yes I LOVE this place) I tried the Shrimp al mojo de ajo! If you love spices and garlic, this is the plate for you! All of the delicious flavors are a serious fiesta in your mouth! :) This just might be on my favorite dishes. The shrimp was perfectly sauteed in a Garlic Butter sauce with crushed pepper sprinkled on top. Don't forget to accompany the dish with some fresh guacamole and tortillas. Now, the must try dessert is the Fried Ice Cream! This is some of the best Vanilla Ice Cream my tastebuds have ever encountered! The Ice Cream comes covered in a crisp shell of deepfried cornflakes - it's definately the perfect way to end a delicious meal. Mi Tierra is the place to go when you are craving a delicious homemade Mexican meal without putting a hole in your pocket! ::ARRIBA, AY YA YAYYYY::

I'm big fan of the two hot tamales. The food is consistently very good in all locations (border grill santa monica, ciudad los angeles, and border …
I just came back from this place (me and guy friend) which was our first time there and like normal, what to get... We were there watching the PITT vs DEN game (in the bar) and as we were waiting we asked for the HOT SAUCE for our chips and we got what we asked for... we got a small habanero dish and let me tell you, my 5ft 11inch 450lb body wasnt man enough for this.... HOOOOOOOOOOOOT but damn good!!!! BUT, on a serious note, the food is well within reason nothing way off radar. We asked whats the best thing you got? they told us a couple options and we stuck to our guns and we ordered 2 burritos and 2 tostadas . Now, here's where it gets good.. We were about ready to leave and they bartender was like: you guys should really try our deep fried ice cream.. we were hesitant like anyone would be... and this 5ft 11inch 450lb body likes his deserts ALOT... :) So it came out and it was almost 2 inches high in a solid ball of vanilla flavor ice cream with a churro/cinnamon like shell, and some caramel like sauce lightly drizzled on it... and the 2 of us sat there in silence eating this awesome treat. THIS IS AWESOME, AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT, I PROMISE!!!!! Bottom Line: B+ Would I go back: yes Affordable: yes (bank statement attached) Casual Date Friendly: yes Debit Charges (pending)MI TIERRA AUTHENTIC MEX - LAS VEGAS NV - $48.97
First off, the chips, salsa, and bean dip on the house were awesome. I could buy a gallon of the salsa alone. I'd drink it straight, if that were socially acceptable. For main dishes, I got the carnitas plate, my girlfriend got the seafood chili relleno. The carnitas were delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, had hints of lime and salt and herbs. I like the great portion sizes and unlimited tortillas. The meal was easily large enough for lunch the next day. My girl's seafood chili had large chunks of shrimp, crab, and fish. It was covered in a delicious cream sauce. The poblano chili wasn't too hot and didn't overpower the seafood. I think I ate half of hers, to be honest. When we got the check, the bill was very reasonable. It's not a McDonalds value meal, but you'll have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. In my mind, that's an awesome deal.

Community bar. Artistic decor, decorated by members of the community, teak and guanacaste solid timber furnishings imported from Latin America. Low priced, Fast and friendly service and sunset outdoor patio. Student specials, great new artist music, fun night live entertainment.
We were seated quickly with our drinks and chips delivered within minutes after we ordered them. All servers were polite and attentive. The food was borderline good to excellent, portions were large, I had the #4 combination, (ChickenTamale with green chile verde, beef enchilada. Beef taco with Mexican rice and beans, it could have used a little more sauce. My husband had a #24, a chicken & beef Fajita, with rice & beans, the portion was very large with a lot of beef and chicken , both tender and tasty . We would recommend this resturant to everyone.
If your looking for some real authentic Mexican Food then Star Mexican Grill is the place to go. Grant it you have to live or be in the area. What makes this place great is the fact that they cook your food to order it might take an extra minute or two, but it's well worth it. It's a family owned business so it gives it a humble feel. The best dish i've had there so far is the Super Burrito which consists of 3 meat Steak, Chicken and Shrimp. ( WOW it's great ). So if you happen to be in the area make sure to stop by you won't regret it.
We drove by this place a couple times and were deterred by the long lines. Finally, kids were up early and we decided to head out and try it. Food was pretty good, in a basic breakfast kinda way. Nothing fancy or special about the food. Scrambled eggs are scrambled eggs, pancakes plain ol' flapjacks. The atmosphere was busy and there seemed to be mainly tourists there. So this is not surprising. Great location close to beach, but we wouldn't make another special trip out there just to eat the food.
The food here has a distinct lean toward the interior of Mexico. The flavors are smokey and very complex. If you are expecting cheese enchiladas and tacos, you'll be disappointed, but if you're willing to try fish tacos, caldo de pollo in a rich red chili broth or chunky guacamole served in a molcajete, then this is your place. The service is attentive without being obtrusive. I didn't get the prix fixe lunch, but it did look like a tremendous value.
Still one of the best in Vegas, after all these years. This location is so much better than the others for some reason. The nopalitos are just great and a hard to find item here. We always take visitors there even though we live across town. My spouse and I went for dinner tonight and had a very fun experience at Lindo Michoacan. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service-all very much. We're defintely planning to go back soon!
I went in last week and was sat down in this cute spot with lights above me. Immediately was greeted and ordered a guacamole and Margarita. The margarita was so good and strong. Surprised . I am a margarita expert. The guacamole was def hand made I could taste the lime and flavor in each bite. Owner was nice but quiet said he had been in business for 28 years. Why is this not a franchise I don't know! Will be back every Sunday!
