This cab company employs thieves. I left my phone in the backseat of the cab. The driver brought it back to me a few minutes later, pretended like she was going to hand it to me, then snatched it back and demanded $100 cash to get it back. I offered to pay the fare + a very nice tip. I'd already given her a $7 tip for an $11 fare to the airport. But she demanded $100 cash and tried to drive off with my phone when I refused. Luckily I snatched it back. But then the police pulled me out of the security line. They let me go when I explained what happened, after I showed them my receipt. They also threatened to arrest the cab driver for trying to extort money out of me. But still I was pissed that she tried to shake me down for $100 and almost made me miss my flight by filing a false police report. I reported the cab company to the BBB. They could have cared less. I only gave them 1 star because I could not give them zero. Stay away!
I just read your message guys and decided you nothing find favor in the eyes of you. You guys never not drove your car 12 hours a urban traffic jams. Or when you waiting passanger for around hour or 45 minutes, that f..... would be got into the Palazzo hotel went to Mirage that is ride would be is $ 5,45. Alredy driver could be is rude. I myself am a cab driver and started to work in this company, but for some reason I had to leave the company. During on the one month I was work in the other two, and now I want to go back because in comparison with other companies, that is company is really a prestigious and better company to the Vegas. Good luck to you guys..
There were 3 of us in the back of this guys Van.. All of a sudden u thought I was super drunk and I looked at a friend and he said don't worry it's the driver that is swerving����!
My experience definitely sucked. Forgot my shopping bag with over $100 worth of stuff in the taxi, called the taxi company and just kept getting a voicemail for lost and found and never got a call or my stuff back. i even called and gave the taxi drivers name and apparently no one worked there by that name. smh. horrible taxi company and service.
Called for a cab for a routine trip, maybe 10 minutes from Walmart (grocery run) to home. Waited for the cab for a half hour... nothing. Called back. Got a "We are trying to dispatch a cab there". Okay, 20 min later, called back got the same reply.... 20 minutes later nothing. Another cab from another company showed up (first cab of any sort) and took it. Got home, unpacked the groceries and had the ice cream all over the bread. Result? Another run to the store, costing yet another cab fare. THANKS for nothing Whittlesea !! Thanks for doubling my cab fare, costing me extra in groceries (as the kids do need sandwiches for school).
Oh, and btw, They couldn't divert a cab from the airport less than 2 miles away, nor the LV strip, within 4. Well done, well done. Glad they had their priorities right. Wait for a casino and airport for a 'maybe' fare when you got one waiting within 4 miles.

The lady answering the phone would not send a cab to get me at World Market Center because I could not give her a 702 area code number.
Will not call this company again. Other cab companies had no issue picking me up here.
I called them at a little after 2:00 p.m. to take me to pick up my truck before the auto shop doing the repairs closed on a Sat. After about an hour and no show, I called them back. They said they normally only operate on the strip and in Henderson and that they hadn't gotten a driver to take the call yet. By the way, the destination was even further from the strip than my house.
Why didn't they tell me that from the start. They had my address and knew where I lived. I said fine, just let me know when you're coming. In the meantime I called another cab company. They said 40 minutes to an hour so I figured I'd just wait.
After about another hour went by, I called them again. They said they still didn't have a driver taking the call. They asked If I had called another cab company and when I said yes, "only to get an estimate on time". Whittlesea stated, "you can't do that".
Anyway, I got a call from my mechanic stating they couldn't wait anymore around 4:30 p.m. I had to call Whittlesea back to tell them forget it. At that time they still didn't have a driver assigned.
How much do you want to bet if I told them my destination was the strip, I could have gotten somebody. Guess what, in the customer service industry sometimes you have to take jobs that don't always pay as much.
I told them I'd have to pick my truck on on Monday and sure the hell wouldn't call them for that to take me anywhere, EVER.
P.S.; Who here actually believes that people from other cities who left mostly positive (if not all) reviews would take the time to do so. The reality is that most people only bother to leave reviews when the service is bad. Looks like b.s. to me.

I used Bell Limousine service Saturday night for my son's Prom May 2012. I requested a sketch limousine for arrival at 6:30pm. The driver was on time, very professional, and friendly. I checked with several other Limousine companies in Las Vegas, and Bell had the best price and the best service. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

Horrible service, driver was angry and wanted to take us to freeway when we said no, he kicked us out of the taxi. Name of the driver is Calvin Anderson. I will file formal complaint with taxi authority. He was angry, swearing, and simple task of goint from a to b was oversteressing, cost us twice as much and involved a lot of unpleasant emotions. I am lucky it was morning and I was with my husband. I can see this guy getting physical

I agree! Not only will Jim and that witch Cheryl will fire drivers so they don't have to give them their bonuses or vacation, Whittlesea, like most of the other Taxi Cab companies in Las Vegas, will encourage the drivers to 'secretly' long haul customers to jack up 'the averages' (daily quota taxi drivers in Las Vegas are supposed to meet). Ira, the driver supervisor and their henchman, told me to 'stop being a saint' when taking customers from McCarran Airport (meaning take the TUNNEL-more money) By the way, it is against the law in Clark County to long-haul customers but the Taxi Authority does very little about it (the owners of the cab companies have the TA in their back pockets) By the way, if you ever wondered why there are so many foreign drivers in the cab business, I will tell you why-THEY ARE WILLING TO BREAK THE LAW!...
I was dropping off my family at the airport, I was in the 2nd lane working my way over to the Southwest airlines curb when a Whittlesea cab driver cut me off, he came from the 3rd lane and pulledl in fromt of me at the Southwest airlines curb. I pulled behind him to let my family out. He got out and immediately started gesturing to me in anger, I held up my hand as to gesture "one minute", I turned to see if my family had retrieved theri luggage, they had and was already on the curb when i heard a large bang and my car moved. The cab driver actually took a piece of luggage out of the back of his cab and slammed it onto the hood of my car. I got out and told him that I was moving and that was not neccessary, he started yelling at me in his language and said in english "i'm working here". I reported it to the cab company and after 4 days of no return call, I called my insurance company. I was instructed to file a report and get an estimate. To no avail, when I called the cab company and spoke to the claims manager, she advised it was my word against his and that they would NOT TAKE Responsisibilty. So this guy is allowed to basically walk free and he as well does not have to take any responsibility for his actions. It is an outrage! He should be held accountable!
After being dropped off at the Mandlay Bay The Cab driver Nay Lin dropped my camera bag and it broke my camera. After several times asking him to contact his employer to let them know about the incident he refused to let me call. He told me there was nothing he could do. He gave me a number to call and stated that they would take care of the broken camera. I already felt very suspicious about his conduct, so I had him sign a paper admitting his fault in breaking the camera. I got in contact with the cab company and they denied my claim even though I had the cab drivers signature admitting he broke the camera. After several attempts with their claims department and written proof that the cab driver admits breaking the camera. I was still denied. I have taken this up with the cab company and every time I attempted to file a complaint they just hung up the phone. I highly recommend not using this cab company they are absolutely out to rip every traveler off. just read the other comments of past customers. Being taking advantage of must be this cab company's M.O. BE careful some cab drivers are honest but this company is not. Beware they will take any chance to rip you off . I already am taking legal action against the company and their "so called" claims department. Next time I'll unload my baggage myself. Don't ever trust a cab driver. Their much worse then you think. Don't leave anything in the cab either because they will deny everything they are a bunch of thieves.
