VCA at Hualapai is Great with pets, you can tell they really care about your furry friend. The staff is Very professional and friendly and Dr Strobeck was amazing with my cat. The new addition to the furry family needed a surgery And judging by the looks of how the cat arrived at the clinic I thought he was not going to make it but Dr Strobeck manage to make him better and calm me down also, he inspires confidence and he cares. Totally worth every penny I paid.
I totally recommend this clinic, and I tried 4 others clinics in the past ... so believe me, I got info to compare.
Thanks to the VCA at Hualapai staff and Dr Strobeck

After moving here in June, my golden got a UTI so I was referred by a friend to VCA Hualapai and we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Jen Sapanos. She was great with our golden and texted me immediately with test results and even checked on her throughout the week. Unfortunately not long after that our dog had an accident while playing and simply come down wrong from jumping and ruptured a disc with bruising to her spine. She had to be taken to an after hours emergency vet due to the time of the incident. She has paralysis now in her hind quarters (which should improve once the swelling goes down on her spine). Although Dr. Sapanos is not her doctor throughout this recovery because the spinal injury requires a neuro-specialist, Dr. Sapanos has been actively texted to check on her well being and has even helped with getting us information for local physical therapist.

I have had many dogs and moved a few times so I have had multiple vets throughout . I have never had one go above and beyond to help my dog like Dr. Jen Sapanos. She is stil texted to check on her even though she is not seeing her for this injury. I am so thankful for her time and help with our golden. I HIGHLY recommend her. The office staff is also just as helpful and friendly and I have no doubt the rest of the vets in this office are just as amazing .

I wish I could give them 5 sta...

I wish I could give them 5 stars, however we've been taking our 2 dogs here for 4 years. Every time I take the dogs in its a $45 exam no matter what. I would be ok w/ that if I felt the exam was comprehensive. When you have a vaccination they charge you $45 even if you've just been in a month ago, the exam usually consists of me telling them what is wrong with my dog. They say everything looks good and then I have to point out things like ear infections, skin ifections, dental disease, ect. (my small dog has many health problems).

I paid for an exam once because my dog had a skin infection and the dr said she couldn't see anything but bring him back if it gets worse. Why so I can pay another $45 for no diagnosis?!

I feel nickel and dimed here, and dissapointed in the diagnosis.

However they are great with the dogs, clean, and organized. I always get notices when my dogs are due for vaccines. In that regard they do not miss a beat. I haven't ever boarded here but I would think it would be a good boarding facility.

I would recommend this vet hospital if you are flexible - Dr. Mark Iodence is great but his availablity is limited. The other vets I've seen I haven't been as happy with.
