Overall

Terrible experience. Dr. Chinn doesn't listen, she tells you her philosophies (Acupuncture) and if you don't agree she is extremely condescending. Our dog was experiencing severe separation anxiety the only help she would give is expensive unnecessary blood tests, having behavior specialists come to your home, and other very costly treatments. We did inquire prior to our visit if they would prescribe anti anxiety medication. Her office staff said that she would, but when we went through with the appointment she would only prescribe if we did other very costly treatments. She even recommended we go to her friend at Petsmart. We have had dogs for thirty years, I feel that she based her opinions on personal beliefs, not what was best for our dog. A vet should be a partner in caring for your dog. Medicating our pet was not our first choice, however after considerable research we decided this was the route we felt suited our situation. A vet sees your dog for 30 minutes max. I feel that they should respect the fact that this is a member of your family and listen ,as well as, work with you to find a solution. This is my opinion on this experience. We will continue looking for a better match for our pet.
