Tag Heuer

I love this store as it's truly an outlet. Come here if you want last season's TAG watches. My hubby has quite the luxury watch habit and he's purchased about 5 different TAG Heuer watches here and has never been disappointed.

I'd give this place a solid 5 stars if not for one thing that happened a couple of months ago. Hubby bought a gorgeous TAG Carrera Automatic Chronograph (retail price of $4,700.00). He loved the watch, bought it and wore it out of the store. About a week later, he noticed it was dropping minutes and losing a couple of minutes worth of time every few days. This was unacceptable, especially for such a pricey timepiece. So back to the store we went.

I expected a huge to-do and hassle but the manager handled this correctly. He apologized profusely and immediately exchanged the watch for a replacement (the exact model for the same exact model). It was honestly hassle free and took about five minutes. No begging or pleading necessary.

I was also impressed because hubby was wearing one of his older TAG watches that day and the manager noticed one of the plastic grippers on his Formula One had broken off. Without us even asking, he took the watch and replaced the part for free! Now THAT is fantastic customer service right there!

Because of the rock star treatment we received, nothing here made me dock one star. What did make the place lose a star was the actual selling / buying experience. When he first looked at the watch, we asked about any discounts and the salesgirl said that there were no incentives or coupons. We went ahead and made the purchase. Come to find out that there was a pretty valuable coupon in the outlet mall coupon book that would've saved us a couple hundred bucks. Not a lot of money, I know, but enough that it really stuck in my craw. Lesson learned: don't trust the word of the salespeople. I don't know if the lady was dumb or purposefully ignorant but it still is bothering me to this day.

This is at least a true outlet so you can already expect some significant savings off MSRP. Know your prices before setting foot in the store. Remember: your smart phone is your best friend when shopping for luxury goods.

I've always been super impressed with the customer service and the "customer comes first and is always right" attitude at this store. A great place to buy a nice watch! (Oh, and many of the employees are fluent in Mandarin to appeal to the large shopping base from China)!
