If I could give negative stars, I would. I actually paid my loan payments on time, every time. On the 23rd, I had a payment due, but I was told if I just wanted to pay the whole thing they would pull it from the account. That was fine.. On the 28th, I got an email from them stating the payment was unsuccessful and I was being charged $25.. even though had already taken the money. Huh?! I was first told the account came back as closed... I provided proof that the account was active... then it was insufficient funds and they wanted a bank statement from the 23rd on. I gave them that. They STILL refused to refund the $25 because they said they tried to pull money at 7 am on the 23rd and it declined. First, why would they pull money on the 23rd at 7 am... when that was my due date? So I asked the RUDE man why I only had until midnight until 6:59 am to pay on the 23rd... he couldn't give me an answer. He told me I was never going to get that money back. I went back to the branch and told them I was going to file a complaint with the BBB... they gave me the $25.
It doesn't seem like a lot of money... but if they do that to everyone on their due date... and no one notices... it adds up. They are a bunch of crooks. Avoid them at all costs. No pun intended.
I have had many loans with Rapid Cash; both payday and title loans. It was never a huge hassle to obtain a loan. They don't ask for excessive amounts of paperwork. Staff was always courteous and helpful. They have looked for ways to save me money by consolidating loans etc. On a couple of occassions, I was unable to make my loan payment on time. After speaking with a manager, they were able to set me up with an extended repayment plan in an effort to help me meet my repayment obligations. Pursuant to Nevada State Law, everyone is entitled to an extended repayment plan when dealing with a reputable pay-day loan company. This is no secret, nor do they try to hide it!!! This option is in your contract. You just need to READ IT!!! In addition, they provide a nice 3 page color brochure that explains the law and how it works. In closing, the most important thing you can do if you can't repay your loan on it's due date is CALL THEM!!!! If you maintain communication with them, and you are sincerely trying to repay your debt, they WILL work with you! There are a lot of payday loan places out there, but after doing business with several of them over the years, there is only one I would recommend. Rapid Cash!!! (Thanks Pressie @ the Rancho Dr. store!!!)

CANNOT REPAY A PAYDAY LOAN? THERE IS HELP FOR YOU!!!
Never, ever use a Rapid Cash!!!! They will withhold information from you.
For example, if you cannot payback your loan, you have a RIGHT to enter into CFSA extended payment agreement. (You can do this once a year.) As long as you go in before the loan is due, you can sign for a CFSA extended payment agreement. They HAVE TO BY LAW ""freeze"" the loan and allow you to repay it in AT LEAST four equal payments without it acruing any INTEREST. And you don't have to make the first payment until your next payday!
So if you are in trouble financially, you don't get trapped just paying off the finance charge and not paying any of the principal. THEY WON'T TELL YOU ABOUT THIS OPTION! They'll just let your loan default and then send you harrassing letters from their lawyers (which happened to me).
If you get in trouble, go in BEFORE YOUR LOAN IS DUE and demand a CFSA Extended Payment Agreement. ANY payday loan center who is a part of the CFSA has to offer this option.
As of July 31, 2007 all CFSA members are required to offer customers who are unable to repay their payday advance on the agreed upon due date the option of entering into an Extended Payment Plan (EPP). This new Best Practice gives customers more time to repay their loans with no additional fee or interest, and helps customers avoid a cycle-of-debt by providing a cost-free safety valve.
