We had an amazing experience here. We didn't know what was wrong with our baby. He was well taken care of. The staff made sure we were made aware of his condition. They took excellent care of him

They seem out of order. They make sure they get paid but don't make sure your animal is diagnosed. I took my car in on a walk in, they charged me 530 for nothing basically. X-rays, blood work, pain meds. They told me they would call me the next day, and I called THEM three weeks later. The vet I saw is "only there once a month so they passed me off and didn't follow up. Meanwhile my cat got worse. I made an appointment and they put my cat down for 225 dollars. Just a vet bank. They are God and they pick who they care about.

The doctors are kind, and hopefully knowledgeable. BUT the overnight hospital has no staff on duty. My cat pulled his IV out immediately and no one was there to attend to him. I was stunned - why pay for pricey overnight services if no one is on duty? A host of situations might occur for a sick animal that needs immediate attention. It should be stated up front that no tech is present. Secondly the veterinarians rotate their days which means you can never have a follow up with the same veterinarian. The health history has to be reviewed each visit. I like every veterinarian there but the above complaints make it necessary to find a new clinic. Plus the prices are steep!

Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone at Mountain Vista Animal Hospital for the way they've treated us and our pets these last 10 years. At the time we made the switch we had two senior cats and two senior dogs, and the care Dr. Taylor & Dr. Wagner provided not only extended their lives but preserved and even improved the quality of it. Especially Dr. Wagner's acupuncture treatments. When it was finally time to put each of our dogs down, (male was 12, female was 15) Dr. Wagner came out to our house. What an amazing last act of kindness for an animal and its humans. When it came time to let each of the cats go, they passed in the hospital, but Dr. Wagner and the MVAH staff were all just amazing.

At MVAH appointments are always easy to make, and I've never been kept waiting an unreasonable amount of time past my scheduled appointment time. Another thing that MVAH does differently than any other vet's office I've ever dealt with, is that if I feel my pet needs to be seen urgently, the staff will make sure my pet gets seen. There's an emergency appointment option available, or the option to drop your pet off and have the doctors examine it when they can. That is such a blessing. When your pet is really sick you don't want to have to take it to a stranger. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Wagner always go above and beyond and constantly exceed my expectations. During our appointments they each will address all our concerns and neither have ever made us feel rushed. They each also make the time to call and check on our pets after they've been in for a procedure or have been treated for an illness. That's amazing! Our current dog is now 5, and Drs. Taylor & Wagner have been taking fabulous care of him since he was 8 weeks old, so he absolutely LOVES going to vet.

Absolutely worth the drive!

I am so thankful that we found Dr. Taylor. If only we had found him sooner. He and all the doctors and staff at Mt. Vista Animal Hospital are the best! Over the last 5 years, the level of care they've taken with our animals has exceeded our very high expectations every time. When we've called with an emergency situation, the answer is always "how soon can you be here?" If we've had questions, Dr. Taylor or whichever doctor is available calls us back a.s.a.p. If you're lucky and your pet's healthy, you only have to take your pet to a vet for shots. So you might think, why drive past the vet's office around the corner? What's more important to you, convenient or great? Life is unpredictable, and you never know when/if something might go terribly wrong. If it ever does, the best hands your pet can be in, are Dr. Taylor's, or one of the vets at MVAH. So you need to establish that relationship before anything does go wrong. You'll be so glad you did.

The only place I will take our pets!

They are the first vet office I have found that just knocked my socks off!

They are warm and friendly, and truly care about your pets. No matter what size. I had a guinea pig that got really sick, and later died. I took her there and they treated he like she was the most important animal on the planet, and she was to me. I received a card for her loss a few days later that still chokes me up.

These are the most caring bunch of people I have ever met in this field. To me, they are THE ONLY vet in the valley. We take our dog, cats, ferrets, guinea piggies, rabbits and birds there without a second thought.

The best!

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. I have exotics and they are often hard to treat. Anytime there's been a problem, the vet has taken time to do research, contact others if needed, and talk to me about options. No matter what your pet is, he or she will be cared about here.
