My husband bought me a ring, 3 months later I noticed a diamond missing. It was replaced no charge, but he made another purchase at the same time. Now one month later a different diamond is missing. Is this done thinking another purchase will be made? I'll take myself to find out. Otherwise, these are just crap made rings.
We are going to stay at one star until I get the certification from the diamond back from GIA. Colleen and Leslie sold my boyfriend an un-certified diamond. We returned to the store but they would not refund his money. The ring not being refundable was never mentioned. Fine... so they offered a credit for a store in Las Vegas even though we live NYC. So I picked out a ring and kept the original diamond and asked them to have it certified.
Here is where all the excuses begin... it will take two weeks, it will cost another $100...etc. When I asked Colleen to have it GIA certified she stated "No, we use our guy in LA." Feeling really apprehensive about her guy I could do nothing we were leaving that night for NYC and who the hell wants a 6k credit for some bootleg jewelry store in a Las Vegas mall?
In any event, we receive the ring they had it EGL certified the problem with this is EGL inflates their grades. We have taken the ring to be GIA certified and we were already told that it was not and color and grade that EGL certified. Jewelers use EGL as a way profiting more on their diamonds. Please BE CAREFUL when dealing with this particular jeweler, they are just dishonest. I will post both reports that I receive once I get the completed GIA report so you can be educated on their scam. All their diamond prices are inflated because of their EGL certifications.

This is the only store to go to in Las Vegas. They are professional, honest and true to their word. Before going to Michael (who is the best) I went to another store in town. I wanted to compare prices. Thank goodness I did that. We (my sister and I) would have gotten ripped off.
We went to Minden the same day (right after) we went to the other store. Michael was honest with us. He took his time with us. There was no rushing or pressure. He also made us a necklace out of a ring for nothing!
Everyone who works at the store is professional and very nice to work with. They have beautifu jewelery if you are looking to buy.
I would never go anywhere else! This is the only store you need to go to - don't waste your time getting a second opinion. Michael's is the only one you need!!

Well, funds are tight so I decided to try to sell my mother's bracelets. I really had to make ends meet to get my daughter on her way to college. I had no idea what selling the jewelry would be about but knew by the honest reputation that Michael E. Minden Diamond Jewelers would be the best place to go. I was met with a very courteous, friendly saleswoman, Michelle, who explained the value of gold now. I recommend this Jeweler to anyone interested in discussing the value of what they have and perhaps selling!

I have looked through my jewelry box so many times and wanted to sell, but I was always too afraid. These pieces have sentimental meaning... there's no way I would get a good amount for my stuff... blah.. blah.. blah...
I gave in and decided to try it.. already knowing I would just let them tell me what they would give me and walk away laughing.. ya right, that's a low ball amount...
I was wrong... I got almost $1000.00. I was very pleased with the way I was treated by Michelle. She was very helpful in answering all my questions. She helped me understand what I had in the pieces of jewelry I was selling.
I would highly recommend to anyone.

I want to share my experience with anyone who may be nervous or uncertain about the process of selling your old or unwanted jewerly, I did my research and read the reviews regarding Michael E. Minden Jewelers but walking into the store was still a bit intimidating. I was pleasantly surprised. I was immediately greeted by a sales associate who explained there would be a short wait and why. I was seated and had a chance to observe Mr. Minden and the rest of the sales staff. Every staff member that walked by said Hi and asked if there was anything I needed. After a short delay I met with Mr. Minden and told him I felt alittle silly because I did not have a huge amount of jewerly, only a few things. He immediatedly assured me that it was fine. He was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions. He explained the 30 day price guarantee and gave me a fair amount for my gold. I almost left the store because I was just nervous but I am very grateful that I stayed.

I had a solid gold coin that was given to me by my grandparents years back and has been sitting in my jewelery box since. when my mom told me that gold was at its highest I was curious to see how much it would apraise for. My truck was in need of some work and some extra money would be nice. I took my coin to the fashion show location and I was very suprised when I found out how much I could get. Im not a coin collector so it seemed like the right time to sell it. I had a great experience and they made it so easy. I will be recommending him to my friends and family

Michael made me feel at home, giving me the highest price for my gold and diamonds plus he kept his word that if the prices go up the following month he will give the difference of the amount and lo and behold he called me at home and told me that not one but 3 checks are waiting at his store for me to collect because the prices went up. That's what I call true in his words and keeping his promises. I will recommend him to my friends anytime.

I heard from a co-worker how she brought in some of her old jewelery and received a check on the spot. I decided to go through my jewelery box and was I surprised...my jewelry was broken and dented and I received a check for over $500 for it. He also give cash for old coins.
I strongly recommend doing business with him. He is a pleasure to deal with.

I recently decided to sell my old gold and jewelry. I wasn't exactly sure on how to do this but on a recommendation from family members stopped by the Michael E. Minden Diamond Jewelers in Fashion Show mall. Boy am I glad I did! I was lucky enough to ""deal"" with Mr. Minden himself and he took the time to explain the difference between the various gold that I had taken in.
My family members had purchased several items over the past year from his store and always commented on his wonderful professional attitude and friendly service.
I know I will be returning to his store anytime I need that something special!

When shopping for wedding rings, I searched all over Las Vegas for the best prices. At Michael E. Minden Jewelers I found the largest selection of engagement rings at the very best prices. The staff was very knowledgable and spent the time educating me on what I was looking at. It was a great shopping experience. While there, I also learned that they purchase gold and offer a thirty day guarantee on the price they pay. If gold goes up in value in 30 days, they will actually pay you the difference. I collected all of my scrap gold and took it in. I can't believe how much it was worth. I also received an additional payment 30 days later. I highly recommend Michael E. Minden Jewelers.

The folks at Micheal Minden are very polite. The selection is excellent and my visit was pleasent (the ladies where not pushy at all). Went shopping with my 2 daughters. They both found rings they realy loved. They offered to change the orig. stone, (swap it out for a different color) This realy made my older daughter feel important/special. the prices are very competitive as we have shopped all around. + the Fashion show Mall is still a great place to go. I will be a customer for life and I highly reccomend a visit.

I finally decided to sell my old wedding ring because it is time to ""move on"" and I shopped it around in Henderson, where I live. I first went to the place on Eastern and Serene (can't remember the name) then the Anthem Jewelers on Horizon Ridge. Both of them offered me next to nothing for it. I was just going to keep it, but then happened to be at the Fashion Show Mall, so I decided to check out Michael E. Minden for one more offer. WOW! I am so glad I did. His manager, Michelle, took time with me and offered me what I truly felt was a fair price...nearly double what the other folks had offered. Thank you, Micheal E. Minden Jewelers!! Very much appreciated! I'll be back if I'm ever in the ""ring business"" again...but next time to buy one, not sell one. ;-)

My initial experience here was not good, but I later found that the sales person I dealt with was on her way out! So my experiences thereafter were pleasant. My husband and I found the most amazing engagement ring here, and the staff was friendly. They definitely have the largest and most unique selection of diamond jewelery in Las Vegas....and believe me, I looked everywhere!

Once I figured out how to get through Saks (no easy task), I prepared to get my second quote for the gold I was selling. I brought it to Vegas Gold Mine and had a good experience, but I thought it would be nuts to not shop the stuff around. I settled on these two after doing some reading on the web and the bottom line: Minden gave me more cash. It was pretty clear cut. Both places treated me well and I felt like I was getting a good deal from both, it's must Minden gave me more.

I visited the store in the mall and was impressed with the quality and selection of diamond jewelery. However, I didn't feel like I was being given a fair price considering I'd recieved pricing for some of the same products elsewhere. The jeweler came across as arrogant and I didn't feel as though I could trust him. Maybe it's because I'm young and a woman and I don't look 'rich"", but I wasn't treated very respectfully. I kindly left and took my business elsewhere. There are many other fine jewelers in Las Vegas and I found what I was looking for at a much better price with better service.
