This is the absolute worst motel I have ever stayed in. I was put in room 228 it is noisier than you could ever believe the bands on Freemont street play from 10 pm to 2 am less than 30 yards from your window. Next the bathroom door opens less than halfway due to it hitting the toilet so you have to turn sideways to get into the bathroom, next the sink sticks 3/4 of the way in front of the shower entrance so again your turning sideways to get into the shower then your water is either freezing cold or scalding hot. I asked the made prior to contacting the front desk about the water problem and she informed it has been like this for years. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I wouldn1 even give this a 1 star but you have to rate

I go to Vegas at least once a year. I love this casino, it is the best. The tables are cheap and if you go in the morning you get free coupons for their ""award winning"" shrimp coctail, I was doubtful until I tried it, it is sooooo great. They have done some renevations to the casino and have go-go dancers/dealers that are half dressed. It is like a strip show while winning money, which is kool with me. It is layed back and really fun, I always take money home.

Paid for a 6 p.m check out and they locked us out of our room. When we spoke to the manager he replied ""What do you want me to do?"" I told him that he could start by reembursing me for the hour I had to wait in line to clear this up. The guy looked at me and laughed and said ""Yeah, that ain't gonna happen!"" At that point I was angry but the manger (as we turned to walk away) yelled ""you guys have a nice day!"" What a CREEP!!!!The maids do not bother with the ""do not disturb"" sign. Walked in on me and my husband in bed on the day we were checking out (again at 6p.m.) Room smelled to high heaven we both coughed and hacked all night long while there. I had to search for toilet paper and replace the roll myself. Carpets are filthy, window you cant even see out of probably has been a decade or more since it was last washed! Have to walk thru a hip hop club to get to the elevator then have to crowd thru all the club goers to even get to the elevator to our room. Try that with three suitcases!! All in all loved Vegas but will never spend one more penny in this dump!! Would not reommend this to anyone!

Like stepping back to the 1950's. Its clean, with friendly people who seemed to have grown into the place. It thankfully lacks what we have come to expect in the overaggressive adrenaline fueled new Vegas. (You wont be accosted by tip hungry bellhops getting in your face three times as you walk through the door at a strip casino) The rooms were smallish, quaint, but comfortable having a California ""craftsman"" bungalow feel. Its rare these days that you can experience this. The wooden doors and hallway paneling were obviously handcrafted in a bygone era. If you want the cold generic, 'big box' white-drywall strip suite, look elsewhere, but if you appreciate the past and want to take a step back and feel what Vegas may have been like before the strip, then investigate this place. The rates are cheap...and they have the largest Craps table I have ever seen.
