I have gone to Diversity two times - the first time was at 2:00 in the morning and the dude cranked out an awesome tattoo with no notice... making it my own exactly what I wanted. The second time I gave Opi like 4 hours notice... the pricing was higher than expected but he did an exceptional job. Once again.. until like 3 in the morning. They pretty much shut down the shop for us on both occasions - I had like 10 people with us and 1/2 of them got tatted on pretty much no notice. So... these guys are awesome as far as I am concerned. When ur hammered... in Vegas... and want a tattoo - these guys just did it and were creative and still concerned that we would be happy. Both of my tats were intricate. The first one had a lighter hand then Opi - but so what.... no scarring.. little scabbing.... no whining... they were top notch. I think the guy that did my first tat was Charlie but I'm not sure - they were both old school style latina girls faces. Anyhow - I had a great experience and still need to go back and finish the one - but I have no complaints.. like I said.. a little pricey.. but come on.. 2 in the morning on the spot no notice and make it right... these guys are awesome!
I have admired Charlie Fusco's work from afar for some time now. I have read all the articles and news stories on him and had planned on getting some ink done when I got to Las Vegas... My friend called up and made an appointment prior, well when we were there I saw him turn down 6 other customers because he was booked solid... Rumor has it 50 CENT was trying to get him to work on him... All I know is i got well more than I expected. His station was the cleanest I've ever seen and he is a living Rock star as far as tattoo artist go. An appointment is highly recommended, after all he is a Legend amongst tattoo artists... Thanks Charlie, I get compliments about your work daily. He's worth every penny. Oh and don't forget the tip...
thanks sami for the great job you did piercing my tongue .your area was clean and you did and excellent job explaining the procedure before you began the piercings.as well as the aftercare needed. Most of all thank you for being gentle, and precise on all three .ive already told all my friends if they need any piercings to go see you!thank you for your art and the great experience overall. diversity's eastern location never disappoints :]
Was in Vegas for 4th of July holiday with friends and we happened upon Diversity. The place is clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. We decided to get matching tattoos to commemorate our trip and we couldn't be more pleased. We were tattooed by Charlie , who was super friendly and professional and even gave us a group discount. Can't wait to come back and get something else from him. 5 stars!
Referred by a cabbie. I was impressed by cleanliness and cool tunes. I met with Charlie, gave him my ideas walked to get a bite to eat and he had my idea drawn up just as I wanted within a half hour. Everyone there is friendly they even bought me a soda. I love my tattoo and plan on coming back my next time in Vegas.
My wife and I got tattoos from Jose and Charlie and we couldn't be happier great artistry both guys were kind and came up with designs we loved. Owner of shop was there and gave us a huge discount on smoke shop items we bought. When we left we felt like part of the family.
I Traveled to Las Vegas specifically to meet the Legendary "CHARLIE"... I have seen his work on T.V. and was very excited to meet him. Well he lived up to his reputation, professional, clean and let me tell you he made a masterpiece! I think it would be best to call ahead and make an appointment for a consultation he had alot of people coming in just to see who he was. It figures since he's considered the best tattoo artist in Las Vegas. I would go as far as saying in the U.S.A.... Anyways thanks again Charlie, see u next year.
My family and I were in town on vacation when I went into Diversity. While planning the vacation, I did research on the shop and decided it was the place for me. I went in with a crappy design I came up with and spoke with an artist. He came up with something that looks loads better. The tattoo I received took 3 hours to complete. If I remember correctly, his name was Phil. He did an excellent job on my tattoo. The colors are so vivid and bright even today, almost 3 years later. I have 4 other tattoos I received from another artist in my home state and this is the one I receive most comments on. It's absolutely beautiful and worth every penny. Phil was an absolute delight. He was funny, entertaining, focused, etc...pretty much everything you'd want in a tattoo artist. Let me put it this way, I'd travel all the way back to Vegas just to get tattooed at this place by this guy again in a heartbeat.

so we were way late on our 7 day trip to vegas dropping off our design ideas...we walked in and met Matt an artist from Diversity. He seemed really cool, listed to our ideas and actually offered to come in on his day off to give us our tattoos. SWEET! so we went the day before we left to see what he had drawn up..He basicly went into our heads and drew exactly what we wanted. i was getting a heart with a key hole, and i love the swirly effect...he had it right there in front of me..and my boyfriend as well. We were stoked and ready to get inked! He is professional, interesting, funny and a kick booty artist with a long history of loving what he does and not selling out. Which to me is exactly why we didnt go to hart and huntington to get our ink. We wanted art, and refused to pay for a name. But from now on, i will pay whatever i have to, to get Matt Smith to put ink on my skin. My little brother is a tatt artist in Ohio so i am somewhat familiar with the scene. Matt put what we wanted where we wanted and we went home happier than we ever expected.! I would recommend this shop to anyone going to Vegas. To others who say they were rude or bad...well you might want to think about YOUR attitude going into THEIR shop. Artists are just like everyone else and dont like jerks! But enough about that...10 stars in our book. And we have been there and done that on many occasions. Their whole staff chilled with us and took cig breaks and told us about themselves and to me that is what a shop is about...the inner circle of artists bound by one love..art! and if you go into a shop and just pick some random piece off of a wall, expect to get a crapy tattoo. If you go in with the love of art and ideas and express them to your artist, guaranteed, they are going to respect you. MATT SMITH....ask for him, he rawks!! THANKS MATT!! WE ARE AMAZED AND SOOO HAPPY!! CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!! All of you actually!! : )
I had my first tat done there three years ago, and would not go back again! the guy who did my tat was rude, turned his back to me the whole time, and was generally obnoxious. I would not recommend them at all, i got no aftercare instructions, and i got an infection when i got home, had to visit the dr who gave this 56 year old woman quite a lecture.
i love my Maple Leaf tat on my ankle and would get another, but not from them.

I had an alright exp. w/ my stop in at DIVERSITY, I wanted my TAT a little bigger, but whose fault is that when they start runnin the gun, mine, right. Also charlie added a little star in an exsisting tat for free. (shout out to my MA) So far so good w/ the healing. By the way if you are olive complected orange wont work.
I 1996, I went into Diversity being a TOTOO VIRGIN. I had ideas of what I wanted but had trouble articulating it. "Thrash" was extremely patient and helped me find EXACTLY what I wanted. He was able to resize the photo to fit the place of the tatoo. Thrash was cool and very professional when I wandered around for an hour deciding what I wanted! My tatoo is amazing!!! I am going back to Las Vegas in November and I will definitely go to Diversity! Thrash, you rock!
I went in to get a back piece done, and was asking about prices and who was open, they totally ignored me at first, then they treated me like crap, so i said to hell with them...they were the kinda people who you just don't wanna see in life..so i went to another shop that didn't charge an arm and a leg... and it turned out great! leave Diversity for the tourists!
