I bought furniture over there like 5 years ago. I needed a new sectional so I went back and learned that they had moved but I did discover some other modern store on the same street a few buildings down to the north. That store had amazing things that can't be found at any other furniture store in Las Vegas. They showed me some great sectionals and I got to pick my fabric. I'm really excited about how well this looks in my home and it's very quality. Check it out in suite 102 at the Safari park.
Previous review was denied because I wrote the profanity a saleswoman called my boyfriend
Fake leather sold as real
Dye off couches and bedroom set damaged rental wall paint. Stained skin and clothing. On walls in the shape of furniture, manager says he is not responsible "that was there before"
In short please do not do business with this establishment. It's cheap, but fake, they're dishonest, and not nice. Will place blame on anybody to not be held accountable. Lies about "special orders" to not give a refund ect...
We bought a small loveseat for our den. It's rarely used, so it"s OK we guess. We went back and found a "leather" sofa. It had dual recliners and it was $999. 2 years after we bought it, the footrest portion began to crack and peel. Leather doesn't do that...because it's not leather! We couldn't find the invoice at the time, and they acted like they'd never seen us before. Then a few months later, the handle for the recline function snapped, making half of the sofa useless. It was made of VERY cheap think plastic. I went through boxes, knowing I probably had it somewhere....I found the invoice!! I contacted the manufacturer in Los Angeles, who said to contact Tony at the store and he would handle it for us. It took me 2 months of trying to speak with Tony before I gave up and went in. He said NO warranty. I could get new parts if I paid for them and installed them or bring in the sofa. The footrest problem, too bad. I must have "misused" it. The fact that he sold it as a LEATHER sofa? "I am not going to fight with you over this" was all he'd say over and over. he wouldn't answer questions, just say that, very rehearsed, like he'd said it OFTEN!! I had no trouble with his thick Chinese accent. He was RUDE beyond belief. So I got less than 3 years of use, that's $300 a year. NO MORE CHINESE MADE FURNITURE!!!
I bought almost $7,000.00 of furnitures last year from a lady and she was very pleasant and accomodating. This time however, my painter who had an accident while painting our house needed to replace a $750.00 coffee table. During the entire process of ordering, waiting and pick-up, the only Salesperson who has a very thick accent, could hardly understand what he was saying, was very rude and unaccomodating. We took delivery of the coffee table, wherein the marble top would not fit over the wooden base. He was supposed to send someone to fix it, and then called that I have to bring it back for fixing. He even told me that we are not doing ti right. Four people tried to put up the table top over the base for almost an hour, we all gave up.
I don't believe this is the way to treat a customer who spent so much. People should not buy anything from this establishment, even if they have what you want. You will regret dealing with them.
I can't tell you how happy I am with the furniture I purchased for my whole house! Barbara gave me excellent advice on matching colors, and the furniture with my rugs and carpet! She has a keen sense of style and was right on with everything once my furniture arrived. The prices were fair, the style was exactly what I was looking for, and the service and delivery was top notch! I have referred many of my friends who have commented on how wonderful my house decor is, and wanted to know where they could get some furniture for themselves. Thank you Cosmopolitan Design!
they were not honest during the ordering process, the delivery or in trying to rectify a bad situation. Will not do business again. Honesty is the best (black is black - not dark brown). Don't say "just take delivery, we will make it better" and then refuse follow up.
