Good Doctor, Questionable Patients

While the nurse can be a bit rough (New York personality), the majority of the staff in this office does create an enjoyable experience. Dr. Karl has been my physician for years and provides a quality of service which has brought me and my family back over and over. It is important to note that he is a DO, not a MD, which stands for Doctor of Osteopathy. DO's employ osteopathic manipulation, which does adjust and move the muscles in the back. The manipulation can catch you off guard and soreness does happen, but ultimately the original pain caused by the muscle issue goes away and you feel great. It would be wise for you to research your doctor before visiting to see if this is for you.

He has written a fairly understandble book for the non-doctor reader and does focus on back pain being the root of many problems. This is what makes the DO approach so unique, as they look at a unifiying cause to problems which can be corrected without surgery or never ending drug regiments. The doctor does require follow up visits in an appropriate manner, not looking to "milk for more money", but rather to actually maintain a quality of care for his patients. Being asked to return in a few months to see if medication needs to be adjusted or even removed to cure your ailment is a responsible thing and more doctors should be as thoughtful.

Worst Doctors office

The staff is rude...the nurse accually yelled at me because it was taking too long and she was late for lunch, accually said that to me. Went in for breathing problem and he tried to ajust my back, stuck his knee in my back and I was accually in pain when I left and still could not breath. Found out he wrote a book on back pain, oviously trying to plug his book and associate every problem that comes in there with back pain. Walgreens had to contact them every time I wanted to fill my allegry medicine and would only fill it three times. Three refills for allergy medicine I have to take everyday...who comes into a doctors office every three month just to get more allergy medicine...way to milk for more money. I will never never never go to this office again. Worst doctors experience I have ever had!
