About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Nathan Adelson Hospice

My Father was placed here for a period of a week prior to going into a group home where he received continued Hospice care. After we left him on the first night he was wanting to go back home which was not possible and stressful on our family. After only one day he was in better spirits that I'd seen him in months which changed his and our outlook on him being placed into a home afterward. He passed and our family will always be in debt to this Hospice. We now have my mother who is also 97 years of age under the same care.

Run. Do not trust your loved one with this company. They advertise a lot to promote themselves, but they should, instead, use their money to find management driven by compassion and honesty so that the service they provide is compassionate and honest. It is neither.

Comfort Hospice Care

My mother has been a patient with Comfort Hospice for quite awhile and they work as hard today as they did when I signed with them. I tried two different hospice company's before Comfort and before I signed they'd tell me all the great people and programs they had and after I signed their contracts, I was lucky if I'd see the nurse once in awhile. With Comfort I know mom's being seen because the Comfort workers communicate with our group home staff and together they work as one. Their nurses see mom at least once a week but she's needed some extra care and her nurses stop by to check on her. Their aid who helps mom bath has had a heck of a time with mom yet she never complains. Moms sickness has made her nasty yet the aids and the nurses never complain. Comforts Chaplin visits mom almost weekly and he calls me after every time not only to let me know how moms doing but to let me know he's there for our family should we ever want to see or talk with him. He brings his guitar and sings songs and prays with mom. I've called their main office about six times and whomever answers the phone already knows all about mom before I finish saying her name. Their manager has made himself available to me from the beginning but with their hardworking caring staff, I get the answers I'm looking for within minutes of calling. If you need hospice services or are unhappy with your loved ones care, give them a call. They do all the work and you will rest easy like I do. John M.

They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand.

My experience with Solari Hospice

This is by far the very best place I could have placed my father! They were recommended to us by our Nurse Practioner and it was very helpful right from the start. I needed help with finding a group home for Alzheimers patients and there were very few in the phone book and Internet. The Social Worker (Leslie and Sherry) located a great one for him close to my house. They also sped up the Medicaid program that I was having severe problems with. In the beginning we had a few different nurses due to our relocating my father and staff changes but then we were lucky enough to get the kindest, most caring, wonderful nurse (Huong) that was with us for a year. She had to leave so that she could return to school and get a Nurse Practioner degree so I couldn't be upset about someone getting a better education. The entire staff at Solari works together to make sure the Patients wishes are filled, needs filled and the family of the patient was their concern as well. When my father passed, they offered bereavement counciling for as long as I needed it. They took such great care of my father and I. They turned a horrible diagnosis and a financial hardship for us into a "team project" and worked together to accomplish everything we needed and more. I would recommend this hospice to absolutely everyone! They made me feel like part of their family and didn't forget about my needs as his daughter when he passed. They were and still are a class act!

You need to call them and let ...

You need to call them and let them help you through this awful time in your life, I know how hard it is to let go, I still cry morning and night and sometime's in between but these people make things so much easier for you and the one you love. There will be no more pain for him, you will be the one in pain as your heart breaks but you will know that he is OK. There is no cure for a broken heart but these people will help to ease the pain for both of you.
