Not business minded at all - I am a professional and I could have done business with a reputable reliable distributor but instead I made a big mistake by doing business with this proprietor. Now I’m left with the decision of contacting the Nevada attorney general and the state licensing board because I get no response about my order I placed 4 months ago and they won’t give me my money back. I also should’ve checked Nevada’s BBB first because this company has an “F” rating. Smh

They treat out of towners like crap. We fly out to Vegas twice a year for the big ASD convention. The strip is not a good place to find a good barber. I first found house of fades a year ago searching for Barbershops in Vegas. First visit was great. Brother in the second chair from the entrance was very professional and left me looking like a million bucks. “No complaints” My second visit was a different story. So we fly out again to Vegas for a convention and decided to go back to house of fades because we felt our first experience was great and we couldn’t go wrong going back. It was myself and my business associate. We walked in and immediately noticed that the Barber who cut our hair the first time was not in yet. So we asked if anyone else would cut our hair. As we waited, our barber walked in so I immediately jump in his chair. He cut my hair exactly the same way he did the first time. Charged me $25 for a blowout and a line up. My friend decided to save some time he would go to the barber in the last chair. He asked for a simple line up “shape up” and nothing else. First let me tell you that he chipped him up so bad that he had to wear a hat for the entire trip. To make matters worse he charges him $40 for a line up “shape up”. Clearly taking advantage that he was an out of towner. I paid 25 for a full haircut and a line up. $40 for a line up is ridiculous. I will never go again to this Barbershop and if you’re from out of town find somewhere else where you won’t get ripped off.
I was a walk in and I was surprised at the liveliness, the immediate assist, the friendly open, and cheerful staff... No hair is too hard... I have been all over town looking for someone to manage my hair, I have found a hair style home... very talented stylist.
Sarah was super amazing and nice! She styled my hair perfectly just the way I wanted. I am totally loving my new haircut! Everyone here in this salon were super friendly and fantastic. Will definitely be back here again!
I love the ladies that work here. Always so nice and meticulous.
The salon is upgrade and remodeling lately ! Very clean and good sanitation ! The designs and customers services are great . Highly recommended !
My long drive to this salon was all worth it. I learned about this salon during a conversation with relatives and so I decided to go here together with a friend. I was really amazed at how nice and amazing the salon is. All staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Had my hair done by the stylist and she did a marvelous job! Now I'm beyond satisfied with new hair and it's all thanks to this salon.
At Terry Rae’s beauty Salon at the El Cortez I always leave thrilled with the results. Nice people there too!
Broke a nail playing slots at the El Cortez Hotel & Casino. Terry McGowan, Owner of this hair and nail salon, gave me the perfect manicure at an affordable price. It's a clean, comfortable shop on the second floor. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly. I will be going back the next time I am in Downtown Las Vegas.
3 trips...3 bad cuts. The last two I attempted to try other salons, but they were too busy with an hour plus wait. When they had availability at this one, I should have known. Do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs. The staff finds following simple instructions to be too difficult to follow.
