My 20 month old daughter was neglected on two separate occasions by her diaper not being changed and being left to sit in her own feces for over 4 hours causing a severe diaper rash. The rash was so severe that it broke the skin causing sores to form and bleed which led to her needing to be seen by a doctor. This has caused so much distress, anxiety and pain for my child to the point she no longer wants to be changed nor wants to potty train. We tried to reach out to the owner for a meeting to discuss what happened and he continues to blow us off. In the contract that I signed on the day of her enrollment, it states that each child will be changed every 2 hours REGARDLESS if the diaper is soiled. The facility is not taking the situation seriously and has shown no remorse or empathy towards what happened and not to mention breach of contract. We will be pursuing legal counsel!!
My friend referred me this day care and ever since I started here, had no issues and their staff is like my family now. I highly recommend this place to any parent who is concern about their kids safety and early education.
I recommend this day care to any parent who is looking best child care in town. Friendly teachers and the management. I see lot of improvements from my son after attending to this center.
My son has been going attending since April 2017. I'm very pleased with the service and the facility is really clean. My son attends the evening hours and loves the staff there.
This place is great. Everybody gives it 5 stars except this last person. I have been taking my children there for 5 years. Never heard anybody yell. The bad review must be their competition. Staff is very good. They have great activities for the kids. Every educational program.
My wife & I are like most parents meaning we are very overprotective of our children and want the best for them. So like most parents we browsed the website looking for a daycare. Toured kindercare and made the decision to enroll our daughter (than 9 month's) into this daycare. We closely watched our child's development & even compared this to some of our friends who weren't taking their child to daycare and noticed a huge difference. Yes our child was developing social skills & learning in conjunction with what we were doing at home. The downside was that we weren't really keeping track of just how much diapers, wipes, and formula our daughter was going through until we took a family vacation. Upon speaking with the daycare they apologized and we noticed an immediate decrease in the need for diapers, wipes, formula. A few months passed than as I was coming to pick my daughter up (now 1 yr old) I get to the daycare and my daughter is screaming and uncomfortable I noticed that she had a busted lip. When asking the staff they provided different answers I made my expectations clear that whenever something happens my wife & I receive phone calls immediately. It was 3 in the evening & supposedly this happened around 9-10am. I was clearly disappointed. The kids must be watched at ALL times. I don't believe that they are. My soon to be three year old was withdrawn on Friday. Since she was 9 month's & full time she never stayed the entire time. well apparently we have been charged for full time & the reason behind this was signatures & times weren't adding up so we were being charged full time 252 a week. Our daughter was there less than 25 hours a week sometimes 2-3 days as my wife travels to California with the kids. This was unnaceptable & the reason for the star rating is pretty fair on my end to say the least. The facility, service, & expertise is moderate to say the least.
Not a single staff member has yet to smile or acknowledge us when we arrive. When asked a question, the are curt, bordering on ride. No customer service skills at all.
Don is the epitomy of what a "caregiver" should be. On my first visit he actually examined me! A complete exam! He made eye contact, he spoke to me not at me. He gave me a chance to ask questions, he explained everything he was going to do and why. And he did something that really surprised me...he actually shows concern and compassion. And his staff professional courteous helpful and they actually remember your name. I don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes with or without an appointment. Definitely everything a caregiver should be.
I started here in September 2015 after receiving neck, back and arm injuries from a rear-end collision. After I made the initial appointment I could never get ahold of anyone via phone -- ever -- and they never returned my calls. At my first PT visit I was given several exercises to do while someone stayed with me to make sure I did the correct amount of reps and maintained correct form. The following six weeks I did the same exercises except NO ONE stayed with me to make sure my form was correct or to ensure I was doing the correct number of reps. The lady next to me even complained, "How am I supposed to remember all this stuff?!?" You're NOT ... they are supposed to guide you. They had me using resistance bands, and I knew my form was off. I frequently called the guy over to ask for help in correcting my posture. Eventually I stopped asking for help, they just do not care. They point to which piece of equipment you are to start on, then they go to a computer in the center of the room and rarely ever look back up. I often wondered if I should even be doing the resistance bands since I had a back injury and the bands clearly made it worse.Upon arrival, they would ask how I was feeling that day. I was often near tears from the Level 9-10 pain, and once I actually did cry, but on my Patient Reports they listed "is feeling better today." What?!? I never ever ever felt better -- although sometimes when they asked how I was doing I simply replied "ok" because I knew they didn't want to hear I still had the same ailments that I started with. Now here is the kicker ... on my last visit I faxed a copy of my new MRI Report over to Chris for review, prior to my appointment. When I arrived I confirmed he had received and reviewed the report along with my cover page indicating that due to the severity of my injuries this visit would be my last. Since my neck and head were hurting, he took me over to a table where I though he was going to do a pressure point massage, as he had done once before. Instead, he proceeded to CRACK my neck!!! The MRI report clearly indicated severe cervical spine injury (among other things) and he still cracked my neck ... I couldn't believe it!!! Had he told me his intentions I would never have let him touch me.A second MRI confirmed that no additional damage had been done by Chris, but I wound up having emergency surgery as my cervical injuries had already caused permanent nerve damage and were very likely to cause paralasys if I waited too long. I still cannot believe Chris cracked my neck after reading the initial MRI Report. On top of it all, the place is quite dingey and the PT "tools" are extremely basic. When I needed a second round of PT after my cervical spine surgery I absolutely went somewhere else. You should, too.
My daughter has attended Kidz Preschool on Ft. Apache since she was 3 months old (when it was called Bright Child). My daughter is now 2 years old, and she loves attending school ever day. The school is much better under the direction of KP than BC. I will admit I am THAT parent, who is very involved in her child's life; I am not the "daycare drop-off" kind of parent. I'm always asking questions about the curriculum, activities, the teachers, etc. - and the directors have ALWAYS been patient and professional with me and kindly addresses all my questions and concerns. Ms. Shanda and Ms. Jamaika have also been great with looking out for the well-being of my daughter. Without going into details, I had a personal incident earlier this year that made me nervous, BUT these ladies handle the situation with ease and grace and helped put my mind at peace. In addition to the great directors, I love daughter's teacher, Ms. Akieya! As a teacher myself, I am so happy that my daughter has a teacher whose actions match her words, and I can see that she really cares about my daughter and her classmates. I always make sure I tell Ms. Akieya at least once a month how grateful I am for her and how much she is appreciated. As a teacher, I get it...sometimes just a simple acknowledge of one's good efforts can make a person's day, week, or even month. **************************For any parent reading my review, like with anything, PLEASE do you own research/inquiry. After reading other reviews, I was saddened by some of the false information people have posted just because perhaps they were upset at the time of writing their review. And, yes, I realize that there is always 3 sides to a story: his, hers, and the ultimate truth that only the Dear Lord knows.
