About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Cornerstone Christian Academy

My experience with Cornerstone was abismal. The director of the preschool is basically nothing more than a pageant queen looking for everyone that crosses her path to kiss her tiara. The principal of the elementary should have been retired a very long time ago - often can't put a complete sentence together. They raise the tuition every year, yet offer NOTHING more. The pastors drive VERY nice cars, yet put nothing into the school. The teachers are barely paid minimum wage, and well, you know what you get for that. They do have a commercial kitchen on-site which sounds really great, but the food that comes out of there is terrible and most definitely NOT healthy. They use and abuse parent volunteers. It doesn't seem to matter how many volunteer hours you give, they want more and then give absolutely nothing in return. The staff is a gossip circle, spending most of their days talking behind each others backs and the backs of the teachers and even the parents. They will all tell you how very "into" their Christianity they are. But the constant gossip-fest that goes on there speaks a very different tune. One of the selling points they tout in trying to get new students enrolled is that they have a very advanced curriculum, which in my experience is true. But what they neglect to tell you is that this only remains true for preschool thru 2nd grade. After that it quickly levels off and is no longer advanced. When I inquired as to why we are putting so much pressure on the kids when they were so young if we aren't going to keep up with it, the answer I received (straight from the mouth of the preschool director, Mrs Kaye) is: "I don't know - nobody knows really"!!!!!???In addition, the school is very lacking in extracurricular activities. The few sports/activities they have are mostly headed by parent volunteers rather than trained professionals. Pretty sad, especially in light of the high cost of tuition here. Even their uniform code continues to degrade. When we started there it was very nice, but now they wear t-shirts once a week and can pretty much wear whatever they want for shoes. Not what you want from a private chrisitian school! In this parents opinion: stay as far from this school as you can get.

Abundant Grace Church

Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? This people honoured me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. In vain do they worship me,teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. Full well ye reject the commandments of God, that ye may keep your own traditions. Making the word of God of none effect through your traditions, which he have delivered and many such like things do ye. The word of the Lord is tried, he is a a buckle to al those that trust in him. The law of the Lord is prefect, converting the soul, making wise the simple. God house and traditions will never mix and I choose God over traditions. Put on the whole armory of God and if you do at this place they want you to put your light in a closet. Whom light a candle to put it under the bed. Even after showing it was just a candle was still told your armory has to go in a closet. I smiled left Satan house cause God would never tell me it is a traditional (rule)not to have a bible bag with bible, bless oil, and communion even offer to show my Minster licence, who goes to church without it I don't know, that like going to a birthday party with no gift. The word is hidden in my heart though I keep my shield with me at all times, sorry for upsetting anyone at door for refusing to allow you to closet my God. I don't have a closet religion!!

Greater Grace Church is a friendly and dynamic church. It has sound Bible doctrine with an emphasis on God's grace and missions. The messages are thought-provoking; they will encourage you to search the scriptures. The church also offers free Bible College on Wednesday nights. Come and check it out!

Holy Ghost Ministries
Fred S. rated the Las Vegas Review Journal article on 7/22/13 about the Fraud Scheme and 14 year sentence for Las Vegas Home Builder (so-called pastor). I was intimately involved with the leaders of this church for many years and I am a eyewitness to the fraud committed by these men. They are guilty of MUCH MORE than the 12 counts that he was convicted of.

Saint Barnabas The Apostle

The moment you walk trough the door you feel that you have entered Gods house. The people are friendly, and easy to talk too. Then there's Bishop Bob accompanied by two wonderful Priests and a staff of Deacons. They make them selves available to assist you in your spiritual needs. You feel welcome in this church.

Our child is in fourth grade at CornerStone and has been going there since pre-school. We are so happy with the education she is receiving in such a loving, Christian environment! Everyone - teachers, aides, office staff, pastors - are always helpful and available if you have a question or concern. If you are looking for a place that is warm, safe, and loving, that develops a child's spiritual character as well as the academic mind, CornerStone Christian Academy is the right school for you!

We have our children at Cornerstone Christian Academy & Tykes Preschool. We have one in the preschool program and one in 1st grade. We have been part of the Cornerstone family for 2 years now & we have been incredibly impressed with the passion & character the leadership and staff have for the kids! They are constantly striving to make the school an advanced & amazing place for our kids to grow in their education & spirituality! I am very proud to be part of this school and I look forward to watching my children continue to grow & flourish from the leadership, character & caliber of the teachers, staff & leaders. As I read the recent post that gave Cornerstone one star knowing the school like I do it sounds like there is much more to the story than what has been posted- they would not have taken such extreme measures unless there was a significant repeated delinquency. In order to pay the teachers that teach our children they have to collect tuition- needing to take measures to protect that is certainly not an abuse of a nonprofit organization nor does it show a lack of Christian character- that behavior is consistent with any business that is counted on to pay salaries & keep the lights on.

Living Word Ministry COGIC

This church is at the top of my "go to church" list. The delivery of the word was anointing. The congregation was warm and friendly. The Pastor and the First Lady even greeted the congregation after the service! The choir and the musicians were great. This was the best church that I have attended all month.
