About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Greetings, I had a strange experience a bit ago at the;Batteries Plus Store731 S. Rainbow rd.Las Vegas, NV 89145I went in to purchase a quantity of AA batteries. I seen the Procell brand and grabbed 48 for purchase.I was told that I couldn't purchase that brand unless I was a business. I was told that it was policy.Of course I wasn't happy, I can purchase that brand many other places in town...and did.I decided some time ago that I would patronize Batteries Plus because it was close, and a small specialty store...and believe me, i was spending money at that store, as an individual. Not only thru me, but my wife and my son. Well, no more. You/they have lost a customer and have gained bad Brand PR. In addition to not shopping the store any longer, I'll be posting remarks of my experience on many sites devoted to keeping track of such things... plus I will be spreading the word verbally.Since when is an individual 2nd class to a business? Since when is it good business to deny a sale to an individual, paying cash, by not allowing the purchase a particular brand of battery? Or particular brand of anything for that matter. It wasn't about having an acct. It was about keeping that brand exclusively for businesses. You may now change your policy (or maybe not) but will probably carry a double standard thru pricing - no thank you.Bad policy breeds bad experiences, breeds bad service, breeds bad Brand loyalty, breeds bad profits... This is just bad policy.I'll not patronize Batteries Plus again.respectfully, - - Tim (Las Vegas)
