review for Tropicana's Mob Experience Attractionoh man do i have a huuuuge obsession/fixation with the mob and the mafia-like it's so not okay...so when I heard about this attraction at the Tropicana, I knew that I had to experience it on my next trip to Vegas. It's interactive and pretty educational. You walk through the attraction and essentially run with the mob. At the end, it's your response that determines your fate. The actors were really good and held character very well, even with my friend and I cracking up the whole time trying to be serious with them. Try to go with a local (they get discounts) or find a deal if you don't want to pay the full entrance fee. The very end of the attraction has rooms upon rooms of information and history about all of the key mobsters, hotels, and endeavors that led to Vegas being what it is today.
When in Vegas, do the signature cocktail, and in this case it was the margarita. The green chile burger was a little messy, but delicious nonetheles…
Excellent service. Turned up on time and my pre-packed gluten free breakfast and lunch were both good. comfortable journey in a comfortable vehicle. The day was a wonderful learning experience where I learned the history, geology and ecology of the places we visited - and in an academic depth and detail that I would never have expected from a simple day tour. This was due to the expertise of the guide, Ralph, who is punching way below his weight as a mere tour guide. His guidance and knowledge made the day a tour which I would highly recommend to anyone interested in more than surface detail. Also this guy's personality and patience deserves acknowledgement - well done Ralph and Casino Tours and Travel - I take pleasure in recommending both .
Great Hotel, very bad and unprofessional service. I was there on february 11th and 12th, we got there at 2:30pm we went to customer service to check in the rooms were not available the customer service representative too our phone number to call us when room are available. He says it should take too long, we waited until 5:35pm no one called us, so we went to customer service desk and the room still not ready, no simpty from the customer service guys, and no one was opologetic. Even when we called the suppervisor she was worst than the rest of them kept going in circle with her, and she kept repeating the same thing, diffending her guys.
On my annual trip to Las Vegas, I searched every casino on the Strip and Freemont Street for the video poker machine with the female dealers. All of the casinos replaced this game and I was upset. Slots-a-Fun was the only casino that still had this video machine. Needless to say, although I was staying at another popular casino/hotel, I have spent most of my vacation time in Slots-a-Fun. They still had many of the old slot machines I was use to playing and loved to gamble with.
Every part of our trip with Palace Station has been Great. Make sure to check in to a Tower room and not a Courtyard room. They are newer, bigger and better. Its worth the couple of dollars and the comfort level is worth it. The Buffet is the Best price in all of Las Vegas. Lots of Good food at a affordable price. The Strip is the same food at 3 times the price. The game odds seem to be much better than the strip. Over all it's been a really Great stay
JACKPOT JOANIE'S ON PECOS AND RUSSELL IS A VERY CONFORTABLE CASINO, THEY ARE VERY NICE IN THERE AND THERE IS NO PRESURE LIKE THE ONE ON TROPICANA AND BOULDER HWY. THE ONE ON TROP/BOULDER IS EXTREMELY CRAZY IN THERE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THERE AT ALL IT IS A BAD ENVIROMENT IN THERE. THE STAFF ARE VERY UNFRIENDLY, AND THE CUSTOMERS ARE LOW LIFES. ALL THEY DO IS GET DRUNK. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO BE. THANKS JEFF
BEST HOTEL CASINO in all of Las Vegas NV. They have Shuttle pickup from the Airport and also a free shuttle to the mall all day long. The buffet is very reasonable unlike the Strip. Large buffet with everything you could want. The rooms are much better priced than the strip. The odd's seem to pay back a lot better than the strip. The Rooms come in different price ranges from very cheap to good. Great Stay.
I loved staying at the Wynn. The hotel is very comfortable and seemingly not as trashy feeling as some hotels and casinos in Vegas. The decor is nice and not cheesy and the restaurants and cafes in the hotel are delicious (overpriced in my opinion, but it's Vegas...) I love their Parasol bar and the little show that comes on every so often outside in the lake. It's a little trippy, but kind of neat too.
Once you step foot in caesars palace, there is really no need to go anywhere else in Vegas. The room are great, the service is done with a smile and the pool during the day is crowded. If you're a pool person, get there early for lounge chairs because any time after noon it get a bit tricky. If you want a more peaceful pool day...hit up the small one just to the left as you walk out.
I found it to be decent. Shower floods while you're using it. Drain is not an issue, but they didn't slope the floor correctly so I can be a liability!! If you want bathrooms with privacy, this is not the hotel for you. Sage restaurant within the hotel is VERY good. I highly recommend it. Book Zarkana through the hotel and seek a discount. I saved over $100 vs Vegas.com
