My Mother and Dad's anniversary was last week, and even though my father pasted away many years ago, I wanted to give her a gardenia corsage just like the one she wore 66 years ago when she married my father... I wanted it as soon as possible, and I called several flower shops in my neighborhood. Although they would order them for me, they didn't really seem interested, since it was a small order, and they all said it would be at least a week before they could get them for me... I needed them as soon as possible, so I decided to make one last call to The Tiger Lily, even though they were not as convenient to my home... I spoke to Michele, who was so helpful, and actually seemed interested in helping me. Before she ordered the gardenias, she took the time to call their other locations, just to see if any of them might have some in stock... Michele understood how important it for me to get something so special for my Mom, and she was able to get them for me in TWO DAYS !!! I have never seen my Mom so moved over flowers before, and you know you've done something right when you can bring tears to your Mom's eyes... They must have been the freshest flowers imaginable, because they are over a week old now, and they are still beautiful, still floating in a crystal bowl next to my Mom's chair, and still filling our entire home with their incredible perfume. I should have just called The Tiger Lily first, and I would have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. I don't often order flowers, but The Tiger Lily created my wedding flowers several years ago, and they were to most beautiful flowers I had ever seen... They not only made my incredible bouquet, but they also decorated my wedding cake, including the topper, my toasting glasses, my cake knife/server, and the entire table.... The cake table was the focal point of my reception, and I didn't see the finished product, until I walked into the reception with my guests right behind me....I can't tell you how pleased I was to find that the flowers not only beautiful, but arranged with such care, and obvious pride. The Tiger Lily will be the only florist I call from now on... <Mrs.G.Palmer

This place is great, but it wasn't always. I'm giving it five stars for what it is, as I write this review, not what it was when I first started bringing my child here.In the beginning there was a different director and the center was open 24 hours, but there was really no structure and it seemed a little chaotic, to say the least. For the price, it couldn't be beat. One day, my daughter started crying when we were dropping her off for preschool and this persisted for a couple days, then my girlfriend brought it to the director's attention. My girlfriend had noticed changes in the teachers and my daughter was not adjusting well. The director, who was a new one, set up an appointment so they could have a sit down conversation. We were not pleased, before this appointment and wanted to know what was going on and why our daughter was feeling the way she was about the school. So, come to find out, they had been letting some teachers go and bringing in new ones and changing the structure of the classes to be more school like, rather than daycare like. The reason they were letting some teachers go was because they were bringing in more qualified people to fill the positions, after they had hired a new director, who is much much better than the original director. They have always worked with us, as far as payment goes, as long as you let them know in advance, which is like any bill. After setting up the new structure, my daughter, who was two at the time, was bumped up into the 3 year old class because she was doing so well, and they have talked about moving her up another class, since she has turned 3.I have been taking my daughter here since two weeks after they opened, so I've been there since the beginning and have seen the good and bad and the great changes and improvements that have been made. I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else.Oh and their hours are Monday-Saturday 6am-midnight. Not 24 hours anymore, but not bad at all.
I'm a burger fanatic but this joint is just okay. It's loud, crowded and overpriced, and the food is just so/so. When you eat here, you're paying for the novelty of the name and owners. (Now, if they decide to have Mark and Donny start serving burgers shirtless, I may reconsider my star rating)!I was surprised at how difficult it was to find the restaurant, it's AT Bally's but it's not IN Bally's -- you have to go outside and down several escalators to get there. Once you arrive, expect a wait. The restaurant thankfully has a system where you can give them your cell number and they'll text you when your table is ready. It's nice enough, but there's nothing to do around the area while you wait, just some lame shops and the casino. While I appreciated the gimmick of "government cheese," I really hate fake cheese so that just grossed me out. I was happy they had Swiss cheese too, but I think it may have been Swiss-flavored processed cheese food. The fried onions were mediocre (they were red onions too, which meant they were far too pungent for the light batter). I ordered a triple cheeseburger because I was starving, and I'm glad I did because the portion size was really small for the price. My burger was cooked as ordered and well seasoned. The pickle chips were INCREDIBLY delicious, but the chili was the absolute star of the meal. Yes, the chili has beans (boo!), but they are minimal. It was fun to try once, but I probably won't go back to this place.
this is a great location for a family getaway or Staycation during the winter school break if you are in Las Vegas as a local or want a break from the strip. We stayed one night with two elementary aged children. We stayed in cabin 9,which I believe is one of the largest they have. It is located near the office and parking lot but is set back far enough from the road so there is no noise. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the cabin and the amenities. I was not expecting much to be honest, but was impressed as the cabin had two elaborate four poster beds, a two sided fireplace, two large sofas, a flat screen TV for DVDs, a jacuzzi tub and large dining table. The cabin also has a nice balcony/ deck with porch swing and chairs. We enjoyed the serenity, proximity to the Lodge for dinner and beautiful views of Cathedral Rock. The kids enjoyed sledding in Lee Canyon near the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard resort. You can't beat the fact that it only takes 30 minutes from Las Vegas and you are a world away! Bear in mind this is a rustic setting so the furniture is scuffed and hodgepodge, don't expect more and you won't be disappointed.
I'm not a big fan of designer labels but I have always loved the style of Balenciaga handbags. I'm sort of a handbag snob I guess because I've watched my collection grow to nearly a dozen Bal bags. Each one has a different look and feel, all the leather has a different grain. That's why it's super important to me to physically shop at a boutique so I can carefully examine every bag before I buy.I've bought at both this location as well as the one at Crystals, and I prefer the Forum location simply because their stock is much larger. The sales associates are pretty much the same at both locations; watch out if you aren't decked out in designer gear -- you'll most likely get the snoot and snob treatment or, even worse, you'll get ignored.Nevermind that I was shopping last week at this store with my $2,800 Balenciaga handbag: I was wearing jeans, Chucks and a t-shirt so it took a while for anyone (well, anyone besides the security guard) to greet me. Look, I know boutiques get lots of looky-lous but I'm obviously a serious buyer and customer. I'm overlooking that because dang it, I love these bags!
My son and I were looking for a good breakfast place during our visit to Vegas and Eat had lots of positive reviews so we decided to give it a try. We showed up around 1pm and there was a 15-20 minute wait. We stuck out the wait and we were both glad we did !!! The menu is pretty small (which I like) and consisted of a bunch of classic comfort food items with a twist. After much debate my son decided on the truffle egg sandwich and I had the chicken fried steak. They were both really yummy and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions were pretty generous and I was only able to eat about half of my dish and took the rest home. The coffee was good and the service was really excellent. We also really liked the vibe of the place and the clientele which consisted of primarily young hipsters and foodies. Some of the other items that looked really good were the pancakes (lots of people seemed to be enjoying them), the corned beef hash, the grilled cheese, and the huevos motulenos. We'll have to try them next time, I guess !!!
Mrs,. Gloria and Bring Em Young Academy has been such a HUGE blessing in our lives. As a mother of 1 year old twins and a 3 year old I was extremely hesitant as to whether someone could handle the amount of attention and energy they required. Mrs. Gloria had a true gift to relate to each of my children's needs from the moment I dropped them off on the very first day. My children adore Mrs. Gloria and talk about her on the weekend and are happy to get in the car to see her on Monday! As a teacher it is vital for my children to be in an academically enriched environment, but I was not ready to send them to a large learning facility. Bring Em Young is truly the best of both worlds. Mrs. Gloria puts an incredible amount of time into the kids' activities. Each day they come home with a detailed report of their day and a purposeful and fun lesson(s) that they have worked on. I would recommend Bring em Young over and over again and can only pray we find someone so loving and knowledgeable as Mrs. Gloria again!
Located at the Mandalay Bay and run by the famous gourmet chef Hubert Keller, this place is a burger connoisseur's dream. Straight up burgers, from a regular old fashioned burger to grourmet kobe burgers.I sat at the bar at the bar while I ate, and it was a week day so the place wasn't too crowded, hence I don't know how to rate the service. But as far as burgers go, if you like burgers, you must go here. For the vegetarians, they have veggie burger on the menu, and for the adventurous, they even have a buffalo burger - and no not the buffalo that accompanies the sauce - I am talking a real buffalo burger. They also have some real funky desserts to match their burger theme. Like a donut burger or a chocolate burger. I didn't try any desserts though. Only thing to watch out for - it may be a place that sells burgers, but its no McDonalds. Don't expect a 99 cent menu. It is a touch pricey.
HiI would like to take the opportunity to Thank you all. I cannot express the gratitude I have for the teachers, assistants and director of this wonderful daycare. The staff here care about the kids. They have a safe and fun place to be. I searched and looked for a great place for my son to be when I'm not with him, I went to several day cares interviewed moms, etc. and now I feel so calm and happy that I found the right place. I would like to give a special "Thank you" for the room # 2 teacher, when my son cried the 1st day, she took my son and gave him a hug and tried to calm him down, this touched my heart. The camera gives me peace and I am so happy to see he is in a safe, fun and lovely place. Today my son did not cried anymore and he even went to the teacher's arms right away..... Thank you "Blue Diamond" Bright Child Learning Center!!!
Stayed at cabin 12 for an early bday getaway!! Came with hubby, our son, and 120lb german shepard. We all loved it. Had a huge balcony to sit outside and enjoy cocktails, peacefulness, and the scenery. The room was very spacious-loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. Also loved no tv with the guys-that's all they do on weekends!! There is a dvd player and we brought a few for late at night. They had a big selection in the office you can rent for $1. Restaurant and bar just a couple min walk from cabin, and the restaurant allows you to eat on balcony with your dog. There is a pet fee, $27 per day but if you stay more then 2 days there is no extra charge. You have to request maid service if you want it at check in-we did not as wasn't sure if the dog would be there alone when she came. Can't wait to come back!!!
