IAs a Corporate Executive, Investment banker and entrepreneur I have traveled the globe and dine at some of the top restaurants in the world; Hong Kong, Dubai S,F , NY etc, etc. and for the past four years living here in Las Vegas I eat out at many of the top restaurants every day of the week and yes I do get tired of eating out all the time. But never at Michaels, this is the most classic restaurant with top quality service and with the most delicious food and deserts. It is on the expensive side and many turn away at the price on the menu. But let’s face it, fine dining and elegant services are not for every one. This is my hide away and most relaxing place in all Las Vegas. I cannot use enough adjectives to describe this place. When I go there alone I usually read and is always left alone so no problem there. Go fine dine, relax and take your time to even hear some of the stories from the waiters that served some of the most famous people in the world back in the day. Save this place for that special occasion. You won’t be sorry. By the way with a recommendation like this I am not owner nor do I work there. Just a satisfied customer.
I am disheartened that there are so many folks that have written reviews that did not receive the same kind of service we did at the Yellowtail.\r …
The ribeye steak is served with your choice of potato (French fries). The steak had a good char flavor, but not seasoned enough. It needs more salt and pepper before it is thrown on the grill. A little garlic butter would go great on this too. Otherwise, the steak was cooked to a perfect rare. The French fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ask for a side of Ranch dressing for dipping. It's definitely made in-house and you can taste the freshness. Thumbs up but need more seasoning! The full rack pork ribs served with your choice of potato (French fries). The ribs were tender and had a good crust on them, but bbq sauce fell short on flavor. It tastes like a tame A1 sauce. The sauce needed a bolder flavor to stand up to the fat in the pork. Their barbeque sauce was a good dip for the fries though.
The steak was dry and not flavorful. I'm only giving two stars because I guess pricing is good relative to other steakhouses. The service was terrible, except for the runner who overheard me say it was the worst service ( he was so nice and apologized and now I feel so guilty). I also had a special request for a birthday dessert for my mom since it was her Birthday which never came. EPIC FAIL OF LIFE!! Do not be cheap, go to a more expensive steakhouse on the strip This is an update! I took it from two to one star. I wrote the review while sitting at the dinner table. My mom has been throwing up for hours now. Could this experience have gotten any worse?!?!
I was really impressed by CUT. It really is an experience and an education. Before you order, they explain the different types of steak that they offer by actually bringing the meat on a cart out to the table. Everything that I ate was delicious and I am not a huge red meat eater. The quality of the meat was wonderful. We each ordered the plates that included a cut of several of the steaks. It was cool to be able to taste each steak without having to actually order several different steaks. It is very expensive, but in my opinion, it was totally worth it.
My group has stayed at the Golden Nugget several times over the years. This time, October 2013, was the worst. Things just seemed to go wrong everywhere! Rooms all seemed dirty and worn down (even with "recent renovations"), broken locks and safes in the room, casino seemed understaffed on the floor because over 4 days on constant gambling at the slots some were NEVER approached about a beverage, and the little grill next to the sports bar took 30-40 mins to order and another 30-40 mins to get a pizza and 2 sandwiches!!!
I have been to this restaurant several times. Everytime I go there the food is ALWAYS so gooooood. The waiters and waitress are always friendly and smiling. This is far best than any buffet on the strip. Its a great price for the quality and taste of the food. I am pretty familiar with fine dining at its best, my husband is a gourmet chef at a very high end restaurant. And I do not know any of the workers there....I definately recommend their Garlic Pichana, Bacon wrapped chicken and the chimichurri.
This place has some of the best fish in Las Vegas. The owner and staff are fun, attentive to your tastes, and provide great service. If you are looking for the freshest sushi in town at an affordable price, you need to try this place. My family and I have been regulars at this restaurant since they opened. If you like spicy food ask about the "Hatrick Hand Roll", and their "Baby Tako" is the best you will ever find.
I totally love this place!!! The prices are not as bad as I have seen at some restaurants. This is not a dark, intimate type of steak house but the perfect place to go with a large group of friends to enjoy exqusite food, tasteful wine, and distinct beers! It is also a really good "get to know each other spot" because the environment is so bright, opening, happy, and inviting. This is THE place to come smile and let out some good laughs!!!
Decided to head to the old Vegas and saw good review for this restaurant on Yelp so decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately it was a let down. My steak was close to well done when I asked for medium rare. Waitress forgot my side order and we decided to just cancel the order since I'm pretty much done with my main course already. And the booth we were sitting at has a vibration sound which was not relaxing at all.
It's part of Marriott's, so great right off the bat! Has a lovely waterfall by the main entrance which is very nice. Once you go inside you can see the entire layout of the casino, which I really like - all the slot machines are in a circular pattern, so you can walk the entire floor and not miss any machine you may be looking for. There cafe there has excellent food and great specials.
