Took my 7 year old grandson in. It had been a long day and was almost 6 when we finally had him sit for his exam. (appt was at 4:40). After he few minutes he asked me if he had taken his meds? And was he always this fidgety. And i should seek a group for help with him???? WTH?? And then he told my grandson he didn't believe him when he told him "better or worse" on the lenses. Completely insulting and making him feel really bad. He was lucky I didn't get up off my chair and smack him. If he can't be friendly with a little boy then he needs to say up front that he isn't capable of doing so. The one gal Monica was very sweet. Needless to say we will NOT be going back there.

My husband, Roger, and I, Janet, went in for an appointment. From the get go, the receptionist was friendly, courteous, and had a good sense of humor. While we filled out our forms, the two receptionists were talking to us and joking. We love to interact with people. The testing was done very professionally. Dr. Lucero was also courteous and had a good sense of humor. We were very happy with our time there. We would and will recommend this business to friends of ours at NMSU.
Literally the worst place to go in town. The doctors seem fine, but the rest of the staff is awful. After waiting more than 2 months for contacts, they just informed me that the order has yet to be sent out. As if this wasn't bad enough, I was on hold for 20 minutes while they looked for my file despite having gone there since before they took over that office. I am so over this office and all of their issues.
I went in as a potential patient to pick up a family member's prescription and I don't even want to attempt to book an appointment. The second I walked in, I wasn't greeted, but rather "looked up and down" by the two receptionists at the front desk. They were not friendly, nor very helpful or forthcoming in obtaining what I needed. One receptionist reluctantly assisted me, while the other just stared very coldly at me. When I left, I didn't receive a thank you or good bye, but very forced smile. I won't even attempt to see a doctor if his staff is that rude up front.
The Dr. is wonderful but I can't say the same about the office staff. They have confused my contact lens order on more than one occasion. And to top it off, one receptionist rudely told me she doesn't have time to give me a receipt fir what I payed because she is "super busy". Probably the last time I cone to this place.
