        This facility cares about the bottom line. That is all. New owners turned a not for profit senior advocacy institution into a money making venture. Try and see what they do for their residents - you will find nothing. Memory care for your loved one does not exist, even though they falsely advertise this service. Run, don't walk away from this place. I have found many excellent options elsewhere.

        I tried many times to get a straight answer about the Heron House of Largo memory care unit. Their website prominently describes 24/7 memory and Alzheimer's care and programs that include among other things, interactive life stations. After visiting, it was discovered that this facility does not have any specialization or programs remotely close to this claim. What goes on when the doors close is anyone's guess. There should be a law!
