I had been to one dealership prior to driving 1.5 hours to the Lapeer dealership, and let me just say, the service provided to me by both Sherry and Deb was phenomenal. After my first encounter at the other dealership, I thought I will never find someone who will listen to my wants and needs in both the vehicle and financing. Sherry & Deb proved me wrong! Driving from my work in Detroit to Lapeer during rush hour traffic is definitely a hassle, but one made worth it by the result of my encounter with two very knowledgeable employees. They worked with my financing, provided me options of vehicles that fit my budget, and I left your dealership as a new life-long customer. I know that when any of my family or friends ask if I have any recommendations, I will let them know the drive to Jim Riehl's Friendly Chrysler in Lapeer is worth it because the service is unmatched anywhere else. I purchased my truck at this location bought the oil change package and have had the worst service experiennce i have ever encountered. I have bought a new vehicle atleast every 3 years for 25 years. The first time i vear from gm and buy a chrysler product i realize why i never should have bought one. I have explained the very poor service i have recieved rom your dealership tho the service manager with the reply of "Sorry" and then he walked away after cleaning the oil off my fender fronm just recieving an oil change. This is only the begining of my frustrations with your service department. I am not going through all of them since your service writter or manager didnt give a damn anyway. Just to let you know I never wanted anything just good service now i will NEVER return and will encourage friends and family to seek another dealership for there needs.
I'm a few hours away from the dealership but they had a 2003 Durango I was interested in. It takes a great salesman and professional staff backing them up to sell me a car sight-unseen, but that's what happened and I'm very pleased with the vehicle.Keith answered all my questions and did a good job serving as "my eyes" and sent me additional pictures and descriptions, and the service department was very helpful and cooperative in getting all my questions answered. My gut feel told me that I could trust these guys, and that proved to be true.To top it off, they delivered the car to my door and completed the entire transaction smoothly and easily.I'm 57 years old and have done business with a fair number of car dealerships over the years. This is one of the better ones and I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle from them again.Jeff
You know I have been getting my car repaired with this shop for over 8 years now. I have tried several other shops in Lapeer and this one is far the best. They just recently moved into a larger and cleaner location which make it really great. You know of all my experiences of other car repair shops there are mistakes, or 'mis-diagnosed' repairs. We are all human and will on occasion make a mistake. However what makes this place 5 stars is that if there is a mistake, they will make sure it is right and you are a happy customer leaving. They have excellent customer service, knowledgable techs, and are very trustworthy - just a 5 star business! I have never had any issues with this Repair Shop. They know what they are doing and will always keep me happy and many other car owners in Lapeer. Thank you Lapeer Cars!
Friendly has a great oil change program which I have used for my Buick, Mercury and now my GMC Acadia. It is quick, convenient and they treat you great while you wait. They have a comfortable waiting area with TV, popcorn, water or coffee drinks on the house. You can view the new cars or browse thru magazines. They also have a small play room for children as they prefer not to sit still in a chair. All my visits for an oil change have been quick, in and out within a half an hour or less. Everyone is friendly and they treat you with respect. I give this Dearship 2 thumbs up
I came in for oil change. Always get offered a car wash. I discussed problem with radio and Mark was helpful on how to proceed if problem persisted. They always check tire pressure and top off windshield fluid -which I appreciate. They checked tire alignment and since there were no cars ahead of me I was in & out quickly. I found a complimentary bottle of hand sanitizer in the car-last time I received a chap stick-very nice. Staff have always been polite, professional and not rushed when helping me-even though I can see its a busy place. Very much appreciated.
Outstanding dealership representative interaction with my wife and me best describes our new vehicle purchase. From the initial text and talk with Mr. Riehl regarding our interest in a 2013 Charger through discussion with Chris Byrnes to Scott Feehan (Lead Sales Representative) to Deb Ruth leaving the dealership with our new Charger has been the best experience in our my years of purchasing a new vehicle. Bob Lesko is knowledgeable, caring, and looks out for his customers. He even delivered the car to me so that I would not have to come back to the dealer a second time. He went over all of the cars features, showed me the ones that he knew I would like the most, and was always ready throughout the process to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. Please don't let him go; he was the best part of the experience and the reason that we will be back when my son turns in his truck lease.
I am a 70 yr. old senior here in Lapeer, I have been taking my cars to MIKE for 7 years he has always diagnosed the problems correctly and repaired them at a very reasonable price. I have mechanical knowledge but not the tools. I really feel I have to tell the world, MIKE is the most HONEST mechanic I have ever know. was greeted by friendly receptionist and was immediately directed to a salesperson who was very warm, interested and willing to help me. Told him what I wanted and he was able to find a Jeep fitting my wants asap. Next day came in to drop off paper work and was called at home (twice)to tell everything was in order and scheduled pick-up appointment time was a go. Signed all paperwork and picked up car and out the door in 45min.'s. Mr. Rob Piccirilli did a excellent job.
