My husband and I just ate here and it was a wonderful experience. The service was exemplary and everyone that worked here was very friendly and helpful. We had 2 tapas dishes, one my husband had never experienced before and is still raving about it: The Alcachofas y Setas - artichokes, mushrooms and truffles. I also had an entree special, 3 ginormous scallops topped with capers on top of perfectly cooked couscous in a lemon butter sauce. I couldn't finish it, I was so full! There are LOTS of tapas dishes to choose from! We will definitely go back!

Tapas Fusion is my new favorite restaurant! The food was delicious and the entertainment was perfect which made for a wonderful evening. The waiters were attentive to everything we needed. We shared two tapas (appetizers) and then shared the Paella Valencia and a dessert.

Dinner at Tapas for us was like meeting a good friend's second wife - we loved Apicius and wondered if Tapas would be as good. Furthering the analogy, each was unique unto itself. Tapas is a great concept for today's diner (especially seniors) who don't want huge portions or full meals. One can order as much or as little as one desires, and can be sure that each item is of the highest quality. The grilled shrimp with garlic far surpassed any scampi we had ever tasted - anywhere - and my salad was delicious. The lamb was so tasty that I didn't even miss the mint jelly that I always insist on having with it (much to the chagrin of many fine chefs!) and the accompanying quinoa, tho new to me, was the perfect side dish - nutty, flavorful and satisfying. My husband's filet of beef was wonderfully seasoned and its accompanying manchete mashed potatoes was excellent. As wonderful as the entree was, the special dessert - which I almost passed on - was mango mousse and I can assure you that this heavenly slice of light mango mousse, served with a drizzle of mango coulis was one of the best desserts I have ever had anywhere - and I do mean anywhere!

Our waiter, Petro, was very pleasant and friendly and seemed totally available to us during our dinner. The owners, Johnnie and Greg, joined us briefly and provided a fascinating back story as to how they came to open Tapas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Tapas and plan to return soon. We believe that diners should appreciate the efforts of both the owners and the servers at a newly opened establishment and apply the rule that one gets as one gives - patience and understanding goes a long way in making a dining experience wonderful for all.

Try Tapas soon - we know we will return often!

wwGreg the owner made fals...

wwGreg the owner made false promises. Said rest. would be Spanish & Italian It's 100% Spanish. He vehemently promised ( rediculessly ) that the rest. would not be opened till all personnel were trained. Reason for the long delay. I ventured in last evening with guest. Hostess is a "kid" on the job training....Had a difficult time deciding to give me a table with tables half empty. When I mentioned "Warren" she quickly found me a table. Waiter personable but stupid. Asked 3 times for ice with our sparkling water. Bread served after dinner, Forgot milk for coffee, Lamb Chops were excellent, One Cornish Hen (tasty) inadequate for entre. Asked waiter for second glass of wine and never served....... Manger Warren (son of owner Greg ) arrived at our table very hospitable but much too early to register any complaints. Dessert teensy chocolate cake & ice cream. the chocolate syrup was thicker than the cake and the ice cream equivalent to a teaspoonful. In addition I had asked our waiter 3 times for the dinner price of the pig dinner served for 4. I was very interested in this unusual menu which had surprised me for I never ate Spanish. My wife's initial comment was " I hope the food is good this location would be comfortable for us ". All dishes served around us seemed very complimentary. But, to add insult to injury, not being served my second glass of wine I inspected my bill. i was subsequently

charged for 2 glasses of wine. I confronted the waiter and explained that he never served me the second glass of wine. Shockingly, and embarrassingly the

memoryless waiter insisted he brought the second glass of wine to my table.

After admonishing him that I was totally insulted he agreed to take the $7.00 off the $114.00 bill. I have never had so many displeasures being served ..

Being a Palm Beacher that frequents every restaurant in Southern Florida i have a little knowledge of what good service should be. i did leave a 15% tip which is an unusually small tip for me. Because of Owner Greg's comments who said that he would not open his Restaurant until his people were trained i am submitting this report. First time ever and as you can witness rather unprofessional.

Three requests for ice, three requests for the price of Pig dinner, no bread served with dinner, no milk served with coffee, not served a second glass of wine and accused to have received it is a bit too much.

The food from other tables looked appetizing and being elderly we eat small portions. Just train your people because I enjoy your cigar smoke area from the days of "LEO"."S PROPRIETORSHIP. AND my wife is forgiving.
