I'm from out of town and sat at the bar and was the only one there. They took a while just to get me a drink. I was very friendly and nice but I could tell they were more focused on cutting oranges and stocking the bar to bother with me so I stayed to myself. My drink went without refill until I was half through my meal. When it was time to leave I asked for my check and they said ok but went back to cutting oranges after printing out my tab, making me sit there for 15 minutes. I have a high respect for servers because I know how difficult people can be and always leave a min 20 percent tip or $5, whichever is more. For great service I've been known to leave a $20 tip on a $10 tab. This time I left four bucks and still feel like it was way too much. I will never go back there when traveling through Lansing again!
Seasoned good but usually dry and overcooked. The customer service is the worst. You usually have to stand there for 10 minutes waiting for the girl to take your order even though your the only one in line, she's just standing back by the cook waiting for another order. Then to top it off if its just the kids there running the place it usually reaks of pot. If you want a truly urban experience with the risk involved going to this neighborhood enjoy.
5 stars! My son chose this spot for his birthday dinner. We had to go late because of work, and college classes. The close at 10 on weeknights, we walked in at 9:45. I did beg the waittress to tell me honestly if it was too late to order dinner. She insisted we stay(there are 5 of us), so we did. GREAT food! Great staff, and really cool restaurant. Doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for letting us celebrate so late!
This place is okay. A lot like a Ruby Tuesday or Applebee's, just your standard American fare without too many bells and whistles. If you're looking for a place to have a relatively quiet lunch of soup and salad, I'd recommend, but not someplace I'd stand in line to have a night out on the town.
I am am a regular customer and I have always been satisfied with Finleys service and food for about 5 years. I would recommend most of the menu items. Try the raspberry ice tea,it is unusually good and not too strong. I Don't recommend the small steaks but everything else is excellent.
If you want diner food/classic Coney Island, this is the place to go! Waitresses are a little frazzled and don't have much to give you since the place is always PACKED and they are obviously overworked, but the food is great. One of the best breakfasts in Lansing, for sure!
This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Lansing. 5 star food. 5 star staff. 5 star craft beer selection. extensive wine list and top shelf liquor.
their food is amazing everything is homemade and its a very relaxing environment. the people are very nice. food is always fresh and fulfilling.
excellent place to have breakfast! its under new ownership - since May 2014 and things have improved a lot!!!!!
There fried chicken is the best, so moist and full of flavor! I enjoy the coleslaw also, great lunch specials!
