Never going back! The workers had attitudes and I hate that you can't get your own drinks felt like every time we would ask for a refill it was problem. They would run out of something and it would take them forever to refill it.
My friend and I just got done there, I can't even say got done eating because for the $30 it cost the two of us to eat there we ate almost nothing. Their potatoes tasted metallic, the corn was hard and undercooked, the rolls were still doughy and all of the food was cold. Our server was too busy trying to hurry to clean everything up to get out of there to even help us. This is the second time we have gone and come home still hungry and disappointed. Both of us and all of our family will never be returning there again. Although I would like to say they have one server, who wasn't even ours tonight, and still got us drinks and taken care of anyways. I believe her name is Rebecka. We have had her in the past and even though we didn't have her tonight we still left only her a tip just because we saw how hard she works. She's great but we are still never, ever coming back.
My family stopped going to this location after repeated experiences with poor food quality. We still patronized their Grand Rapids location on Alpine until it closed - likely buckling to the competition from a nearby Golden Corral. The restaurant's poor response to this recent incident (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152274141737285), which appears from the follow up reporting to include the manager re-inviting the attacker back into the restaurant instead of ejecting him; while not addressing or offering protection to the victim will now result in my family boycotting all of the parent company's restaurants and encouraging all friends, family, coworkers, and persons with whom we come into contact to do the same.Had the restaurant and its parent company come out with some semblance of an apology or contrition, all of this frenzy could have been avoided. The fact that they didn't even try to create the illusion of apology - let alone one that was sincere - demonstrates that this is not a company worthy of the LGBT community; not to mention the children and families that they allege to seek to serve in their "family friendly atmosphere."
