Told employee who was sitting outside at picnic table that machine (not mine) was flooding badly. She said "yup" then continued to eat her lunch while the other employee smoked her cigarette. 5 minutes later she came in to check it while the other chatted on phone and smoked her cig.My takeaways from today were: 1. They hate their job. 2. I absolutely hate when my freshly washed clothes have that bottom of an ashtray scent due to employee smoking directly outside of the open door and allowing the smoke to billow in. I immediately took my laundry home and Febreezed the heck out of my clothing. You owe me a bottle of Febreeze.
Baryames has priced themselves right out of our budget. I was shocked to be charged $30 for dry cleaning a 2-piece dress. The dress didnt require a special processing or preparation. There are no beads, pleats or pressing requirements. Fortunately, I had a 30% off coupon, but $22.40 is still more than I'm willing to pay to dry clean a single career dress with short jacket. After many, many years, we must bid farewell to Baryames.
Terrible. They ruined my suit! It came back with holes and they offered nothing so much as an apology. They refuse to respond to me. I will not be going back.
This place was ridiculous. So old and so dirty. At least half of the machines were "out of order" and the half the weren't didn't work anyway. The equipment has to be 40+ years old. The man who owns this laundromat really is a dear and goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that doesn't make pulling sopping wet clothes from a washer and putting them in a dryer that runs for one minute and then shuts off less annoying. It literally took me over three hours to wash and dry my laundry (normally takes less than an hour and a half) because of the shoddy machines.
First of all, WAY over priced. $18 to hem one pair of pants??!!! Customer service is poor, the people that work there are very in-personable and rude. They hemmed my pants too short even though I pinned them exactly where I wanted them hemmed. Also, the hem was crooked! My coat came back still dirty, there was dirt all over the cuff of the sleeve. I emailed the owner and he had someone else from the store call me back. They offered to have me bring my coat back in for another cleaning and to bring my pants back to fix the hem. Hello? How are you going to fix you hemming them too short? Duh! Like I would want to bring my e pensive coat back when you just ruined a $100 dollar pair of jeans. I didn't even get an apology. I will never go back there again!! Super disappointed!!
