Overall
Just like back home

This place was wonderful. I grew up in a small town in Michigan that had a Mancino's with the best grinders in the state. Mancino's is a Michigan based company that I recently found has locations in IL. The food is exactly how I remembered it to be. If you dine in you are given a knife and a fork, I feel this is kind of a joke because these grinders are so big and wonderful that there is no way you can eat it with a knife and fork, unless you are talking about using them to eat the salad that is created by all the toppings falling onto your plate. And yes these grinders are about $6 with tax for a a half or $12 for a whole. But even a half grinder puts a Subway Footlong to shame. Make it a whole and you have dinner for two or a snack for later. I traveled 35 miles to eat at this establishment, and it was well worth the trip.

The best in town

First of all, the prices DID NOT go up 3.00 dollars i have been going there for years. They have not changed their prices for along time, i was explained why the prices were so high. AND its beacause the prices of all foods have gone up. there was a lady in there that decided not to take her food because of the prices, now wouldn't you think that is wasting food and costing theym more money. i mean come on. Doesn't anyone go to the store and see that the prices have gone up also, so about mancino's, they have really great grinders there, their pizzas are good also. The people that work there are nice hard working people. Not one time have i had a problem with Mancino's.

Very good grinder.. but pricey

I do agree the grinders are very good.. But!! for the price they have on them are very very high.. I dont recommend getting a full one..I spent 24.00 plus on two sandwhiches.. Was not very happy giving that kind of money away.. Their reason for increase is cheese went up... HUH?? I dont get it.. besides we just baught in the last month.. and they were 8.00 plus..3.00 dollar increase?

One of the best sandwiches - EVER

I'll get right to the point - Try the Italian combo grinder. It's mind-numbing. I'm not too crazy about the pizza there, but the grinders are every good. I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to pizza because there are so many excellent pizza places that compete with Mancino's - Giuseppe's, Rico's, Beggars, and Waldo Cooney's. Seriously, try the Italian combo grinder. A small is about 7-8"" and a large is about 12-14"".
