One star is to high for the contractor.Once they install whatever you ordered good luck having someone answer the phone or even calling you back when you have a problem or a question. My problem was brought to there attention back in Sept/Oct 2015 and now it's Feb 2016 and this problem is still on going. They will make BIG promises but will never deliver. If you like wasting money, your time, and having a lot of headaches by all means call this company. I would look somewhere else because there are better contractors with better products and better prices then Aspen Home Improvement. This review will be update with all the problems with this contractor when my problems are fixed

Had an Aspen sales guy come to give a quote on a replacement front door and window. The sales pitch was more about their good ratings on Angie's list and others. Little about the products they install. The sales person had very little knowledge about construction overall. In addition to Aspen, I had four contractors come in and give me quotes. The contract Aspen provides in comparison to other contractors is vague and very, very basic leaving them plenty of room to deny work or services not specified. Aspen was more than double the next highest quote. As mentioned by other posters, the endless discount offerings just keep coming but they are still the most expensive. Unfortunately I am not home and had to get one contractor to "do it all". I do not have the time to run around finding another contractor to do trim, paint etc. so I accepted the Aspen quote because they claimed they will do it all. So here is what happened. First, they did not honor the timeline they set. When they rescheduled, two guys showed up. The way they operated indicated they do not work together often. Big problem! The workmanship is questionable at best. Messy, taking short cuts, don't care about your house. When they left, they left clothing and empty coffee cups on the stairs leading up-stairs, screws, wood chips and saw dust all over. I looked at work done by a Home Depot contractor and believe me, I am jealous. My house is open to anyone wanting to see how Aspen works. My recommendation: go to Lowes, Home Depot or get a local contractor. Save money and aggravation for the same products and better quality work. I thought I paid more and will get great service and workmanship. Not so. When Aspen calls, hang up, run, hide. They SUCK and should be banned from doing any work on homes.
Don't go there! Yes they offer a lifetime warranty, but good luck getting someone to handle it. If you call in they always tell you it isn't their department, call back. Also they offer promotions, $50 gift cards for dining which they do not send. Also offering $ for advertising their signs in your yard after installation, but they do not pay those either. Owners are arrogant and will look for any reason not to honor their guarantees!STAY AWAY!
