It was miserable. The air conditioning on the far side wasn't working properly, and I finally said something, and was told it works some times, and other times it doesn't, and it had been that way for some time. Went outside twice to cool off a bit. Finally moved over right next to were you come in to try and finish eating, as evidently there are different air conditioners for different parts of the building. Before leaving I said something to the manager, who really didn't have much to say about the problem. The food doesn't have the quality it used to have, which makes me think they will not be around much longer. Really hate to see them go, as I've been eating there for many many years. But with the air conditioning not working properly, there is no way I'm going to go back until Winter. If you do go, sit as close as you can to where you go in. Don't know if it is a new manager I talked to, or an assistant manager, but either she is just fed up, or just doesn't care.Question came up, while typing this in which asked what I recommend, my answer would be to try some place else. We tried AAA Buffet over on South Tacoma Way at about 103rd Street, and really enjoyed it. It is a Chinese Buffet. Or for a great Mexican Restaurant, try Anahuac Restaurant on Pacific Ave at about 90th street. It isn't a Mexican Buffet, but rather a normal sit down restaurant, but the food is great, and so it the service. Yes it is worth driving out of your way for.
