Malloy memorial Service: The alternative to the tradition funeral With Malloy memorial Service, you arrange for a simple and prompt burial or cremation, followed by a dignified memorial service - held by your clergyman - in your church, synagogue, or home. Our services are limited strictly to the handling of death's physical necessities: transportation of the deceased, private cremation, or private burial in a simple, basic casket. Be assured, however, that at Malloy Memorial, the deceased are treated with great respect and all arrangements are handled with propriety and compassion, as well as with simplicity and privacy. Although we are not a conventional funeral home and do not hold services of any kind, should you so desire, we will notify your clergyman of the death in your family and suggest he assist you in making arrangements for a memorial service. *On Call 24 Hours

I am highly DISSATISFIED with this place. They were rude, condescending, impatient and disrespectful to my 80 year old mother trying to pre-pay her own funeral services. They lack compassion or patience in dealing with their supreme clients; the elderly. We took our business elsewhere. We suggest you do the same if you're looking for a supportive, comforting experience in planning finer arrangements. HORRIBLE customer/ human being service!!!!!!!! DO NOT patronize them.

Exceptional Service

Our experience with Malloy was amazing. We worked with Aaron the entire process. Not only were his prices significantly lower, he was able to get all the paperwork done, my grandmother's body from Cleveland Clinic, embalm it, and transport it promptly to Michigan for burial all in less than 24 hours of our notice. He didn't even charge extra for the Saturday service and worked overtime Friday to make this all happen. He went above and beyond to fulfill all of our requests. He was prompt with communication and answered all of our questions within a matter of minutes. Most importantly, he asked for a picture of my grandmother for the embalming process. My grandmother was very sick and looked nothing like her old self (she lost more than half of her body weight due to her disease). When we finally saw her body, she looked like the person we all remembered, peacefully sleeping. Thank you so much for that last, priceless impression of my grandmother. Malloy Memorial exceeded our expectations by far. This is the first time I've ever left a review for any business. I highly recommend them.

Stressful experience

They seemed understanding and professional at the beginning, which made my choice in their favor because I needed it all done simply and quickly.

Instead, I faced delays, disrespectful attitude, and even few little lies. Once the money was paid, the "service" ended - they allowed errors in both death certificate and certificate of cremation. Not only there was no desire to make up for the errors and promptly correct them, I did not even hear an apology - just aggravation of already difficult situation when you think that nothing worse than the death could happen to you.

This place, according to the worker, employs only 2 people; they cant do their job well simply because of lack of hands. Be careful and pay attention to the paperwork this place issues, look for errors, signatures on notarized copies, etc. Or, better go to some other place.
