WARNING! Do not ever board your dogs here. It is very dirty and smells. I boarded my four dogs there and when I called they said it would be about three hundred dollars because I asked for them to have some one on one play time and to also get a bath,I was fine with that price. When I dropped them off the owner himself told me that he would also be giving me a ten percent discount since I had so many dogs. I wanted to leave their dog dishes with him and he said no that we only feed out of tins. He also separated my four dogs two in one run and two in another. My four dogs are used to being together all the time but the owner did not care about that. I picked them up on a Sunday morning at nine and the man that was working there was very rude! He brought my dogs out without collars on and then when he did put the collars on he put them on the wrong dog and told me it does not matter. When I went to pay it was four hundred dollars and I asked if they got baths and play time he said no.
Had a terrible experience last week. We were not notified about a bloody crusty rash our puppy developed on her neck. Appeared to be from a shock collar by the distinct markings but I did not want to accuse. I calmly called to discuss the matter with the owner and ask questions as I was not the one that picked up the dog. He became extremely short, rude and defensive with me interrupting me. I explained I was just trying to understand the situation which he claimed he had know knowledge of. My daughter immediately noticed the concerning markings on the dogs neck and they said it was a rash. Why weren't we notified? Rather than putting my mind at ease an reassuring me my pet was well cared for , the phone call ended up with him yelling at me, The whole experience left me feeling completely unvalued by him as his customer and that my dog was completely neglected and abused. This all could have been avoided. I'm left feeling terrified and will never never never go to him again. If I could give him zero starts I would.

Provided by CitysearchVery good conformation classes. They have drop in classes and I learn a lot from them. Make sure you bring lots of ""bait."" They are $7 I think.
I would recommend Blue Springs in Englewood for obedience over A. Melara (at mantayo). Obedience class is required for dogs so make sure you find one for you.
Needs to work on people skills, shouts at people, but not at dogs. Also a little patronizing. Everything you would learn in her class you can get out of ""On the other end of the leash"" by Patricia McConnell. Takes breaks for an hour class which makes it really a 45 min. class, so too much money for what you get.
Things she teaches: Off, sit, down, stay, wait. Don't grab food from your hand or when anything is dropped, and heeling. First class no tricks are taught. Says she would give away prizes, but I never say it happen.
If your dog has behavioral issues, find a professional, (not an obedience only trainer).
This was not my first obedience class, and I feel there are better out there.
