New England Rent-All Equipment

The whole operation is screwed up.

Rented a sod cutter.
Day 1) called to reserve it
Day 2) arrived to pick it up and was told (by a teenager who was the only one on site) it would not fit in my van. Advised to call next day for delivery.

Day 3) Called for delivery, was told (by curt office manager) that it would indeed fit in my van but that they would call when someone else was on site to put it in the van.
3 hours later still no call. Called to cancel reservation and reschedule for next day.

Day 4) Arrived right at opening to pick up. Paid the rude, distracted office manager.
Was shown how to operate and it was driven into the van. Got home and managed to start it three times while in the van but it died each time. Rolled it out of van and tried again to start it, no go. Let it sit in case flooded. Tried again, with my mechanic neighbor who couldn't get it started. Let it sit, no go.

Called to have it picked up because I couldn't get it back in van. The guy argued with me, didn't even apologize. No "trying to make the customer happy" just accusations that it was all my fault.

The customer service is horrible. The girl in there knows nothing and the men are VERY rude.
