I want everybody to discourage going to this restaurant with mediocre food, unprofessional and inhospitable owners. After 20 years I was in the area for business and stopped for lunch. The waitress was a nice girl, but all experience was ruined when I went to the bathroom and my leftover food in the box and coffee on the table was cleaned by busboys even I told my waitress I am not leaving yet, she sad that nothing will be touched although opposite happened. The owners were afraid to talk to me even they owed an apology. Seemed they rely on cheap labor to manage the place and are OK with kicking out the customers, to feel them unwelcome. With the competition around there are a lot more better places in the area.
You truly could not get a better deal in all of Chicago for fantastic Italian food and a really cozy atmosphere! Tucked away on the corner of Broad…
Excellent venue for a group of friends to share small plates. They make it easy with a menu of 8 "courses" of increasingly heavy tapas, offering a selection from several options in each category. Priced very reasonable, plenty of food, quick service, very friendly staff. Convenient location on Randolph. Hostess very accommodating as our group grew during the week, no difficulties adding to the reservation.
I enjoyed Karahi Corner very much! I havent had this good of a karahi and daal fry (also chapli kabob) in chicago, in ages! Chef/manager is verg friendly and does know how to do his job :). Chai is great as well!! (That's a plus!!)
I went to karahi corner first time with my family 03/20/2016 , I had worst experience of my life , I was very disappointed and frustrated and angry , because there food was not good because there sitting is not good because there food was very expensive over all karahi corner is not a god restaurant at all worst then any desi restaurant on devon ave, please do not recommend to anyone .
Used to like this place and take my visitors to it for the dinner but they rewarded us with a mistreat, disgust, and disrespectful service when they served us the wrong dishes and the waiter insisted it was what we asked for. What made it worse though is that the boss /owner walked up to us justifying their ashamed flaws with a lie stating that he's just a customer and asked about were we from. Being in Greece for more than 10 years and having the original dish there and spoke in Greek, he didn't have more than a dry smile on his face, bad for them, they just good custoners.
I have a serious crush on their Special Pizza (qepapa meatballs, onions, and feta cheese) and I don't care who knows it. My advice: Stick to their pizzas and Albanian specialties. The apps can be pretty hit or miss (pass on the mac n' cheese), and the service can be glacially slow if there's a full bar. But the prices are right and the portions are good. Plus, these guys are always so awesome to let our neighborhood association have their twice annual parties here. And any restaurant that keeps the pizza, salads, pasta, and drinks coming while hordes of kiddos run amok and cover tables with construction paper is a-ok with me.
