General Info

Established in 1937, Roosevelt Academy offers several academic and extracurricular activities to students in pre-kindergarten and grades 6 through 12. It serves student with learning disabilities. The school enrolls more than 250 students annually. Roosevelt Academy offers classes in agriculture, business, construction and horticultural sciences. In addition, the school provides sports activities, such as basketball and cheerleading. It supports the Future Farmers of America and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The school has a library and media center that includes a collection of books and reference sets. Roosevelt Academy is located in Lake Wales, Fla. The school is a part of the Polk County Public School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
