St. Joseph Hospital West is a faith-based 88-bed facility that was built to serve the residents in the western portion of St. Charles County. The hospital offers many services including heart and lung care, behavioral medicine, cardiovascular, surgery, respiratory care, pain management and massage therapy. The hospital is a part of the St. Joseph Health System that includes St. Joseph Medical Park and St. Joseph Urgent Care. The facility is a pediatric center of excellence for the community, offering specialists in pediatric cardiology, allergy, immunology, gastroenterology, neurology and psychology. A partnership with SSM Cardinal Glennon Children s Hospital provides comprehensive pediatric services. St. Joseph also offers a variety of community education classes including health education, senior steppers and lecture series. It was founded in 1986.
