I have been having my car serviced by Ted and James for about seventeen years and nobody else works on my vehicle!. They are professional, knowledgeable, reasonable, accommodating and above all honest.

I recently moved to Ocala but have to come back once in awhile for work and will continue to bring my car to them.

I was recommended to JT's from a friend and boy I couldn't be happier! No exaggeration I was there for less than 15 mins! My AC stop blowing so I stop to get looked at. He looks for 2 secs and before I know it he's ordering the part. So I ask when should I come back and then the part arrives within 5 mins and it took him less time to install it. Very professional! Would highly recommend.

I first brought my car to Dale...

I first brought my car to Dale at Vic's Transmission in Lake Park because I have been experiencing "bucking"/"stuttering" for quite some time. He ruled out transmission problems and referred me to Ted at J T's Automotive, also in Lake Park. Ted spend a total of about 8 hours over 2 days time thoroughly examining and trying to diagnose my car issue. There were no clear codes for the problem. After further research he found that the problem might be coming from the EGR Valve. He told me the list price for that part and upon my research online I found it at about a quarter of the cost which was less than his dealer cost! He told me to go ahead and purchase the part online and he would show me how to install it since it was easy to replace. After all was said and done, Ted did not charge me for his time in trying to diagnose my car issue because even though it could be the EGR Valve, and my car was acting in a manner conducive to a bad valve, he wasn't 100% sure. I was blown away by his generosity and honesty. It really spoke volumes to his character. If I wasn't moving back to Atlanta, I would definitely use him as my mechanic.
