        Janel Shicor, M.A., CCC-SLP is committed to each and every individual that steps through her door. She is passionate about providing quality treatment and enhancing the lives of her clients. Janel wrote her e-books, “Beyond Tutoring: Strategies to Improve Reading, Spelling, Comprehension and Memory” and “Poetry Fun: Training Visualization Skills with Poetry,” to enable parents to have effective learning strategies to use with their children at home. She worked in various school and private practice settings early in her career, and through these experiences, developed a strong interest in auditory and language processing disorders. Due to her great success in regard to treating these issues, she started a private practice specializing in this area. Janel’s reputation in the community followed her, and her practice was full before she officially opened the doors in 1997.
