Overall

Our booth smelled like pee. Waitress moved us, our new table was not a huge improvement, it smelled like used diapers. One look at the food, we lost our appetites. Food was days old, obviously food had been refrigerated and reheated. Kind of makes sense why the place was empty during peak lunch hour. For the first time in my lifetime, I walked out of a restaurant. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Warning

it was the most scariest experience I have ever encountered. The food it was old it smelled very bad. The people that work there or clueless. They never replenish the food and when I asked if they were going to bring more things out they told me No

Overall
Awful

What a mix of great cultures that make you excited. Not so much.... The food was either finished like the yuca and they weren't replenishing, the steam tables need to be better maintained and wiped down, the egg rolls were like cardboard, there were beef skewers it was more like beef jerky, the boneless ribs were overcooked, need I go on. There was one server who seemed nice at first but was not attentive at all. The other server you wouldn't have recognized because she was wearing a jacket she looked like a customer. Throughout our meal we were never asked how everything was if we needed anything additional we never got refills of our drinks there were huge delays with picking up the plates as we were a party of 6. When I asked to speak with the manager we were advised that they were unavailable when the waitress came by after that she seemed bothered, rude and has no customer service skills. In addition a customer left minutes before we arrived he had at least a party of 5 the dirty plates sat on the table next to is throughout our entire meal. Altogether extremely disappointed we will never go back.

I like the idea of having Latin, Chinese and Japanese food at my fingertip, given the circumstances I can understand why someone who used to love Chinese only and now an additional type of food is being introduce will feel a bit uneasy. It is a brave new world out there, there is lots of varieties for me to choose from. I like Chinese vegetables with Latin meat and/or Latin rice. Great natural fruit juices such as Guanabana (Soursop), I love their Arroz con Leche (Rice Pudding). When you go to this place prepare to find Latin, Chinese, Hibachi Grill and Sushi food. All you can eat buffet for a great price. Lunch special $6.69 (11:00AM - 2:00Pm) all day Dine-in $7.99, $4.99 to go. The people were superb, is hard to believe someone would go hungry with so many choices... I'm going there right now... I'm hungry.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I'm not sure how long this place is going to stay open with the change in ownership!!! The food is nothing like it was.... We went in for lunch and the place was a ghost town. We were extremely shocked to see PIGS FEET and some kind of GIZZARDS on the buffet! All I can say is...C'Mon Man!!!!

I can tell you how disappointed we were when we figured out Golden China Buffet was under new ownership. Latin and Chinese food..odd combo. But, we figured we'd give it a try. What a mistake. The food was unappealing, cold and just not good. Very little chinese dishes to choose from. We did not go there to eat Latin food. As the other poster noted, there were hardly any customers there at 6pm. This tells me that they are not going to be in business for very long. If anyone knows of a good Chinese in Lake Mary, please let me know!

Overall

This place used to be great when it was the Golden China buffet. Now under the new ownership, the Chinese portion is mediocre (and that's being kind) and the Latin portion has things that don't seem very appealing. Unless you like ox tail, greasy chunks of boned pork, pigs feet and liver. I told my waitress some of my thoughts about their buffet items and made a suggestion to add some Latin foods that people in the Lake Mary area are somewhat familiar with. The woman smiled and said I should try these items anyway, that I might like them (I disagreed with her politely). Sorry, I've tried liver before and don't care for it. As for Ox tail....I'm not interested in eating animal as_s. There were four other customers there at @ 6pm when I was dining....I guess they are happy with having such small crowds since they were not interested in listening to my customer complaints (I doubt they'll be catering any birthday or Christmas parties unless eating pig feet becomes trendy for special occasions. Based on the fact that my empty plate and drinking glass sat on the table for 15 minutes while a group of waitresses chit chatted at the other end of the restaurant, I don't think they could handle larger numbers . I do like Latin food at other places (O que bueno, Glorias, etc). My co-workers (one is Puerto Rican and the other Colombian) both warned me (having been here last week) that this place was now horrible' and not to eat there. But, because of how good Golden China was I found it hard to believe that they had gone so far down (if you find the sunk city of Atlantis you've just about arrived at its new level), so I went anyway....like a dummy. Now after disappointment and a near empty stomach, it's your turn to choose...are you a dummy (I eat here)? or smarty (I eat somewhere else)?
