Provided by DexKnowsThis place has been tremendous since day one when the original owners had it. And it is still excellent under the current owners. I pay for food here rather than eating free at the Treasure Island Casino. It's a must stop on every trip. Everything is great but I especially enjoy the walleye strips and chocolate lovin' spoonful cake. Also Barb, the daytime bartender through all the owners, is cooler than the other side of the pillow.

Provided by DexKnowsThe location is beautiful, but the restaurant needs to have Chef Ramsey come by for a week. The service is very slow, just to get seated it was 5 minutes and there were no other customers. The food took almost 1/2 an hour and we had burgers! Then the food came dried out burgers, greasy buns, the cheese curds were cooked so long no cheese reamained in side of them, just hard balls. They have the most bland pasta and strange syrup like texture to the sauce.

Provided by DexKnowsThe location attracted us to Skyline on Pepin. What a mistake. We visited on a Saturday night in October. Twenty-five minutes after we had ordered, we were informed that they were out of the BBQ ribs I had ordered. I chose the pork chops. They were so tough I can only surmise that they came from a very old boar. My wife and I ordered the Beer Cheese Soup - it came barely warm, with soggy popcorn floating on top and no vegetables or ham in the soup. My wife had the Tiger Shrimp. Looked great, large, truly jumbo but no flavor. Then to end the evening, a wedding party came into the restaurant/bar and broadcast via a dj throughout the restaurant all the comments, best wishes and wedding dance information. The public customers in the restaurant should not have to be included in a private event. Management should have closed the restaurant to the public before turning the premises over to the wedding party. ######If you drive by Skyline on Pepin, the best thing you can do is to keep driving.
