I have called to file a complaint on 3 different occasions!! Our mailman is the worst!! He is supposed to deliver mail around 1 pm but most of the time it's not until 4 pm and on many occasions he hasn't delivered until 8pm. On top of that he has now gotten into the habit of scanning boxes and claiming to have delivered them when in fact he keeps them overnight and delivers the next day!! He didn't deliver our mail at all today yet scanned my box and made it look like it was delivered. This is the 3rd time he has done this!! Is that not a federal offense to take packages home with him and claim he delivered them? I would think so but Lake City post office won't do anything about it!! Worst post office I've ever had to deal with!! If he couldn't complete his route he shouldn't lie and claim he did!!
I mailed a package Friday that has a tracking # but I forgot to add the lot # to the package. I have used every resource known to me to get this problem addressed, other than asking the package be intercepted. To intercept a package or to has that it be held at the PO that I dropped it off at apparently costs money. I am trying avoid paying extra to have the lot # added, when it should not be that complicated. I think there should be an email address set up for us to write to ...day or night, where an employee can look at the email sometime and see what the requests are. Simple requests should not be a problem. Some request are too difficult and that is acceptable/understandable.
