Von Seestadt Kennels

We got our German Shepard Angus from Mrs. Peggy two years ago. He was a older Shepard and he is a very loving dog.

Been taking my dog here for obedience since September and he has improved a lot. Originally he would only do what he wanted and when he wanted to. At first I felt their methods of training were not for me, but came to realize it is what my dog really needed. We previously trained with positive re-enforcement and this made my dog only want to please me when I had food. Some people believe that correction training is harsh, but I beg to differ. When I first heard of it I myself wasn't quite fond of the idea. Until it became clear that my dog really needed disciplined. Training my dog this way has worked wonders. I still reward him with treats from time to time but we learned from training at vonseestadt that praising your dog should be the reward.

Overall, I do recommend training with Peggy and John. If you're looking for a trainer, look no further! :)

I havn't had my dog trained yet because he is still to young.When i called Von Seestadt Kennels peggy gave me alot of great advice as to what i can do with my puppy until he is old enough.Even though i cant put my dog in the class right now,Peggy remained very polite and gave me some great tips on how to start training my puppy right away.Thank you Peggy
