I feel compelled to make a review because I feel that people can get an overly negative view of this restaurant from the two reviews that exist now.The cons:The decor is a strange admixture of styles. The pros:Outstanding ribeye steak. Honestly, the best that I've eaten in Lake City. They have a bakery area. The goods are to die for, based upon my purchase. I received homemade yeast rolls as a part of the meal. Honestly, the best that I've had in Lake City.I really can't comment on the prices much. I had a $9.99 ribeye special. For the quality, portions, and everything else it was a bargain. But, again, it was a special. I noticed that Duchenes' has started a buffet. I haven't been able to try it, yet, but I feel sure that the food is going to be excellent.. And it's just $9.99. I _think_ that they have gone to a $9.99 buffet for all three daily meals. I only got a quick glimpse of that information posted on their sign, as I was passing by a few days ago. Maybe I can update this review later.
Worst breakfast in a resturant that my wife of 40 years and I can remember. Owner was very rude. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Good menu selection, but fairly expensive for what it is. Good was good but 13$ for a pancake breakfast and drink??? Also it's fairly new so they are still getting act together. We called about for 7-8 people and still spent 80minutes at lunch and weren't overly socializing. Pastries were marked 50% off around noon FYI
wonderful place. food is delicious. And it is near the gateway plaza. You can have food while you are doing laundry. And there is a store called super dollar. It is a one-stop store. You can buy almost everything you want for your home, pet, beauty, cloths, etc. And that store open late everyday. Even after you having dinner at Yamato, they still open. Good place to hanging out after eating.
This place has been a rapid decline for about six months now. This used to be one of my favorite places to go, but it's just been getting worse and worse. This last time was the last and final straw. First, We waited 15 minutes before someone even came to our table. The waitress was great which is the only reason I gave one star at all. After waiting another 15 minutes for our salads to come we had to constantly keep asking if our food was almost done. After being there for a total of an hour the waitress came back to our table and told us they were "finishing up" our order. After another 10 minutes I had to finally get back up and find the waitress myself. We had to leave due to it being our lunch break and requested our food be put into To-go boxes. She politely agreed and after waiting another 10 minutes our food was finally done. The facility tried to make us pay full price for our meal and blamed the whole situation on "new" cooks. After opening our boxes we find out that out of the 5 orders in total, only 2 were done correct. We told them we were paying for no more than our drinks and walked out. This was the last time I will go here. They really need to rethink how they run this place. Get some new management or something.
Sushi is awful. Overpriced food, mediocre to low quality food. The server messed up our order and charged didnt offer to correct the error, forgot our drinks, never gave us chop sticks.. food tasted like panda express. Definitely not authentic japanese. And we were the only table in the place. Terrible terrible terrible. There is no way this place has 5 stars, the employees probably wrote the positive reviews
I love the decor of the restaurant and the servers are all really sweet. Also they have amazing food. There filet and scallops are amazing and there sushi is wow wonderful!!! I love there crazy roll, flaming tiger roll, and Seminole roll among many others. You have to try this place
