We have a Z235 mower that we have repaired on a regular basis. The people are nice enough, but there seems to be a disconnect between the showroom and the repair facility that is separated by 1/2 mile. When you call about the status of your repair you do not always get a call back. I sent my unit in on 4-1-16 to have a new deck installed. I was told it would be about a week. After MANY phone calls inquiring about the status and no call back. The unit was finished on 4-22. They installed new blades after replacing those same blades less than 60 days before. the explanation was they thought since I had a new deck I would want new blades. if you have a John Deere in the Lake Charles area, you are pretty well stuck with them. When we replace our mower and John Deere tractor, we will definitely have to explore alternative dealers and brands. A pity because we like the brand. The dealer, (service department) not so much.
