Business Description
One of the top Hawaii attractions includes the Polynesian Cultural Center, which features a 42-acre facility on the North Shore of Oahu. Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. The students come from an area that covers approximately 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

Overall

Very cool venue to walk around, shop for all different stuff and eat. They have Pounders a sit down restaurant with good American food. Then kiosks and food trucks. From hot dogs to desserts.

Many stores from jewelry to Hawaiian souvenirs. Then this all surrounds the main attraction which is a show and Luau. Also a buffet. I didn't do the show so I can't comment but it's free to park and walk around take pics.

A Day in Paradise

We loved our visit to PCC in early Feb 2010. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful but we especially enjoyed the young people. Most were very willing to talk to us about anything we asked. The facility was immaculately clean. Prices on gift items were very reasonable. In fact, we made a second trip just to shop. Thoroughly enjoyed the villages and talking with the people in each one. Demonstrations and shows in each one were worth watching. The show that night was breathtaking. We were somewhat disappointed in the food at the luau having eaten authentic Hawaiian food at other places. Overall, we consider our day at PCC as one of the best parts of our two week visit to Oahu. Very handicapped accessible if you bring your own scooter.

PCC was wonderful

“We spent a delightful day in "real" Hawaii, away from the crowds of Waikiki. The staff and students were wonderful.” - Jana
