Do not send your loved one to this facility. They are understaffed, uncaring, and unsanitary. During my grandmother's 2 week stay they never once brushed her teeth or bathed her. They left her waste from morning bowel movement in the portable commode beside her bed for 8 hours before they realized they'd forgotten to clean it. During her stay there was an outbreak of Norovirus where over half of patients were vomiting with diarrhea. With the poor sanitation it is no wonder the virus spread so quickly. They served food to my grandmother without making sure she had her partial/teeth then left her room without responding to her requests for help for 30 minutes. At any given time you can hear patients crying for help and staff ignoring their calls. Absolutely unconscionable! At $8k per month insurance companies and hospital case managers should know the conditions at this horrendous skilled nursing facility that they refer patients to. The owner lives out of the country and is a business man first and foremost and clearly does not care about the safety and well being of the patients in his facility.

My father was released suddenly and prematurely last Wednesday. He was told on admission that he could stay 26 days, from January 14 until February 4. Then a release date of January 28 was projected - but finally they insisted (and I mean insisted) on releasing him on January 26 - before we had a chance to put home care measures completely in place.
Father is in worse shape than before his 2 day hospitalization. He cannot feed himself as before, or get himself out of bed, or even shift his weight in his chair. I think he had a slight stroke which at Country Villa that went undetected. Very understaffed, and over optimistic about patient condition. Avoid
My sister entered Country Villa little over a month ago and she was in bad health, almost near death I would say. Today she is getting around in her wheelchair, she is eating and actually gained a pound. I think the staff is excellent and the care is above average. We have no complaints. The staff works hard and they are always pleasant and helpful. Kudos to the Staff at Station 4 and thank you for the care you give my sister.

All smiles, but totally inefficient. I know, I know...caring for the elderly is difficult and many times thankless. But if you are in the business, then you should attend to that business. Seriously understaffed which is what probably leads to the inefficiency and poor attitude of staff. We were told by relatives of other patients (and consequently learned on our own), your loved one needs someone there to take notes and follow-up on anything and everything with the staff. Dougle check food orders (items missing from tray), physical therapy schedules, changing bed linens (good grief!). Once the staff saw that we were watching everything, care and service changed dramatically.
